TV in my bedroom

We just have a cheapo supermarket one with a built in DVD player upstairs, and a Sky multiroom second box up there. I've got quite a lot of pelvic/hip problems and sometimes lying flat is the only way I can get comfortable on an evening to watch TV so I end up on the bed to get a bit more comfortable. Wouldn't want to put anything big and loud in there since I can't stand TVs blaring anyway and it's not fair on the neighbours.

Only thing I'd say is check the screen from wider viewing angles than if you were buying for somewhere like your lounge - we had problems with how the furniture was set out in our old house meaning the TV was quite high compared to the bed (no way would we risk wall mounting anything in this house with the state of the plasterwork!) and it made it quite hard to see the picture when lying down on the bed.

Ours hasn't been used as much recently since we've had the youngest sleeping in our bedroom but now we've evicted both kids to their own room and have our bedroom back - I no longer have to watch Dave continually downstairs all night!
