I have received and started using my card - but I'm wondering if I clicked on the link for the cashback card or if I revisited the site through the main page and opened a standard one. I can't find the type of card on any of the account pages. I have sent them a secure message but don't want to go spending a fortune on this card if it is the wrong one.
(I have a cashback Capital One card and that has a cashback summary on the account pages)0 -

Login to your account and there's a "Cashback summary" section underneath "Available credit".
I thought there should be - I don't have this in mine! I think in switching from my iPad to my laptop to apply I applied for the wrong type. Will see if they can change my account type (unlikely)0 -

I thought I had done the same thing, but the second time I logged in there was a the following secion. Only used the card for the first time on Friday, so I guess it will be monday before I get to see if the cashback worked or not.

Amount we last paid you £0.00 When we last paid you

If anyone has used a Cap1 card in a metro or such lately the on line statement it will show the MCC in the pending transactions or the MCC description in the view transactions tabs.
Going all the way back to the first few pages of the discussion, but Tesco metro comes up as 5411 for me on the pending transactions, so that suggests it is included.0 -
Had an Equifax alert the other day and it shows 2 searches, both identical and purely Cap1CAPITAL ONE (EUROPE) PLC , a Credit Card company, has made an inquiry against your credit report on 02/11/2013 . If you were not aware of or did not consent to this search, contact CAPITAL ONE (EUROPE) PLC or Equifax for clarification.0

This card may be marketed at those with poor credit history (depending on which specific webpage you look at), it doesn't stop those with impeccible credit ratings applying (and being accepted)
I applied last Saturday (9th November). Got accepted online after about 60 seconds. Confirmation said card would be posted to me in 7-10 working days.
Got all my online details on Tuesday by email. The maximum £1.5k credit limit on application confirmed.:j You see this when you log in. (I said I would accept £300-£500 as a minimum limit when I applied) PIN arrived in the post on Thursday saying the card will be with me "soon".
Was hoping it might have arrived in this morning's post, but alas no, so I'll have to hold off my spending for a few more days. Bread & dripping for us in the meantime.
Presumably those who do not get accepted online, but get told extra checks are needed (possibly to do with recent/frequent changes of address?) are the ones that are mainly experiencing the delays whilst those additional checks are being carried out.
Just to update, the card arrived in the post this morning! :j
Can now fill the car up, as well as our pantry.0 -
Well I had clicked through to the wrong card so I need to close my account as they can't transfer me to the cash back card. More haste and less speed required next time.0

Hmm, still haven't had an acceptance email yet, so beginning to think my application wasn't successful. Any other recommendations for another cashback card? Low salary, so probably wouldn't qualify for some. I guess I could just keep my Aqua card, but it'll only be paying 0.50% cashback from Jan.0
