Well lost a SFD today as I went for a window shop in town :(

However, I did find £6.70 in an old handbag before I went out, and found a much cheaper car park, which was just a few minutes walk from the shops :) So I spent £7.10 but found £6.70, so just 40p onto my total spend :)

Betty Crumble yes if the only item(s) you buy are reduced (or yellow sticker) then it is still a SFD :)
As far as I know if you buy reduced items = yellow sticker items, and only reduced items in that shop and all day it's an SFD.

  • Hello….

Checking in on day 1 of my first challenge. Took packed lunch to work so that’s 1 down,18 to go! Today has been a SFD (as have the last 4 days of October as I’ve beenpracticing – shame they can’t count to my total!). Will need a spendy day this weekend as needmilk, bread, fruit and veg but might see if I can push it to Sunday. Will need to look at calendar to work outwhen the other spend days need to be.

Have set food budget as £100 (no idea what I normally spend, but hoping the SFD’s stop the extra £10 here and there when I go for one item). Have sorted through cupboards over the lastfew days getting ready for this challenge so I can meal plan around what needsusing up and have some batch cooking in the freezer that I plan to use up so Ican defrost the freezer at some point this month. Will be writing shopping list very carefullytonight so I don’t waste a SFD midweek on something I forgot.

Have identified a local food bank I can donate to so willsee how far I can stretch the £3 to make every penny count. Have some items on ebay ending this weekend,no bids yet but hoping some sell as this is the most likely source of the £80earning as don’t get overtime.
    SFD 1/25
    Lunch to work 1/19
    Food £0/£100
    Foodbank £0/£3
