Today was a planned day up in London with DH and DD.
We had a lovely wander past the Eye, the inevitable ice cream for DD, a play in the playground, a go on the carousel, a quick trot to a cafe in Trafalgar Square where we bought the minimum and ate our packed lunches (DD and I are coeliac so can't buy cafe food anyway!). After a couple of coins for wishes in the fountains, a photo with a lion and a walk down the Mall to the Palace, we were thoroughly soaked so pottered on home.
A lovely time together, good memories made and plenty of budgetted cash left over- success! :T
29 days left to hit 25 NSDs...But no! According to what I understand of She Whose Word Makes Us Quake, it's my first NSD as it was planned! Woohoo! 1 down and 24 more to go!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Will keep an eye out, the last one was last weekend so might be another couple of weeks as I thin k they are two weeks apart.
The lovely girl in my office just bought me a galaxy bar (I didn't ask in case you wondered).DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Afternoon lovely people!
I think I might need a bit of help(or more likely I'm being a bit thick!)
I can't seem to get a signatureWhat am I doing wrong?
I've gone into user cp and then edit signature and then preview and save but I can't see it on my posts?
Can you see it?
Anyway, seeing as this is my first challenge I am open to any advice (pretty please)and have already implemented the envelope system
So this is how my month is looking...
SFD - 0/25
Food - 0/220
Fuel - 0/100
Foodbank 0/3
Declutter - 0/20
Make money - 0/80
Packed lunches - 0/14
Misc - 0/100
I am hoping to go lower with both my fuel and food but I must admit I'm a bit scared to be too ruthless on my first challenge.
I have two outings planned for my eldest ds birthday that are budgeted for and I'm optimistic I might be able to work a bit extra to make the £80.
My weakness will be the packed lunches. After I've made 2 sets for my ds I have normally lost the will to make my own,how lazy is that!?
Anyway thank you for letting me join and I'm feeling very optimistic that this is going to really help me.Janus Illusion# 43 : NSD 2/20, Food 101/220 , Petrol 26/100 , Misc /70 , Foodbank /£3 , Packed Lunch 2/16

Can you not just make three sandwiches in one go rather than doing yours afterwards. Or is there stuff left over from dinners that you can just throw in a tub? Some people make enough sandwiches/lunches for the week on a weekend and freeze them (supposedly also works with sarnies, although I haven't tried that yet).DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Afternoony,
I have a box sat on the landing for stuff to go in for the charity shop, so far there are a pair of trousers, a minnie mouse tin and a few bits and bobs.
Going to look into church collections for food donation as I don't have anything else nearby.
Going to get a few bits on ebay to make my £80 and waiting a quidco payment.
Going away for 3 days and the petrol money is already to one side for that, spends should be bare minimum if any and only towards food if needed. This will come from budget.

As far as I know if you buy reduced items = yellow sticker items, and only reduced items in that shop and all day it's an SFD.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250
