    Ola! :santa2:
Congratulations to Fyggy :beer:on your promotion and the new opportunities this may bring, and also LoveaDove  on your new found debt freedom! What fabulous ways to start the New Year!! Hip Hip! Hooray! :j _party_

Quick check in here with 3 SFDs and 3 spend days! 60p spent on Tuesday for a library book reservation.. fuel and food purchased on Wednesday and Christmas shopping half completed today! It was pay day on the 27th so Im getting all the spending done now so I can start December on a clean slate  I have another overtime shift booked for tomorrow and that will secure another SFD which I think will take me upto 22 NSD's for November.. Big pat on the back to you ShySpender for hitting the 25 target! youve done bloomin marves :T

The interest on my personal loan has now been frozen for 28 days and Im looking forward to the destruction of that debt in December! I am very likely to enter the New Year overdrawn by a few hundred pounds but I can live with that!

December is going to be a massive challenge because having made an overpayment towards my loan, I will be living off my overdraft until payday on the 23rd December when it will get cleared. My overdraft is interest free upto £500 and anything beyond this will incur interest charges. I am already overdrawn by £170! The tank is filled and cupboards are stocked, however, I predict that I'll need to spend a further £130 on gifts, which leaves £200 for car tax, miscellaneous bits and fuel to travel home to see family  Its going to be an interesting one! I can see that a bit of tweaking and jiggery pokery will have to be done.. Anyone got a few pence I could borrow? ;)

Im orf to Bedfordshire to push out some zeds, nighty night all

    Yey, congratulations LoveaDove

    Hi everybody,

A Spend Free Day for me today :T, plus I've decluttered 2 more items.
Scores on the doors are much the same as yesterday:-
    Food 221.60 / 187.50 118.19%
    Petrol 156.88 / 225.00 69.72%
    Local food bank 4.28 / 3.00 142.6%
    Hair 56.25 / 62.50 90% (Cut, colour and tip)
Works Xmas Party 0 / 3.25 (Raffle contribution - goes to local charity)
Dentist 18.75 / 18.75 (Had my appointment and no costs were incurred so 12.50 has gone to a gift contribution and 6.25 has gone into the Mortgage OP Pot.)

    Total 457.76 / 500.00 GBP 91.55%

    SFD 21 / 25
    Declutter 20 / 20 :j
    Extra money earned/made 0 / 80.00 :o
    Misc Spends 70.79 / 0 :naughty:
    Kilometres:
    Start of challenge figure 93008 }
End of day 26 figure 94767} driven 1759k (come back with this)

As Friday 29th is my work's Christmas party I'm going to have a spend. I'm only planning on purchasing a raffle ticket for $5.00 (3.25gbp)as soft drinks are free and I don't drink alcohol so fingers crossed it's going to be a cheap night. If I can hold off spending on Saturday it looks as though I'm going to make it to 22 SFD :T

    Thank you folks!
I did try quoting more of you, but as this is the first multi-quote, and I am sneaking work time, I'm not going to try and work out where the others went.

I think it was slightly easier for me in that I live on my own and if I run out of something, I just live with not having it, like milk, if I run out of milk I just don't have cereal or a shake. Although I have got better at freezing milk, I just need to remember to take it out of the freezer in good time.

Also, even though I've come in under budget, I evidently buy too much stuff because as I said yesterday, I have enough pasta to feed an army. I have cheese in the freezer and sauces galore so I'm going to see how I do in December without buying anything for a while.

I'm looking forward to the DDD challenge, already thinking about my 'spending' budget, because I will be home with the folks and family for four days, which will mean some trips to the local

    Good morning!

Payday today and SFD number 23. Shuffled some money into my DPM pot to make it up to 18.8% but will keep £400 separate just in case and will put that in nearer the end of December. Got a phone call from FIL this morning saying his cousin in Ireland has taken a turn for the worse so OH might have to go over on short notice, although he might be able to pay for that himself as he didn't have to pay anything for the car.

On a more positive note, will see another wedding venue tonight and I hope that's the one.

Had lovely onion, mushroom, leftover chorizo, breadcrumb, thyme and parsley stuffed chicken thighs, wrapped in bacon with creamy HM mushroom and pepper sauce for tea last night. I'm definitely getting more creative now to make cheap dinners fancy which I only used to do towards the end of the month when stocks were low. OH was impressed.

Off to read and make notes of the December challenge, woohoo.

I am pleased with how I have coped this month. My budgets and SFD may not be perfect, but it is so much better than would have been if I wasn't involved in this challenge.

Morning everyone! Today is pay day :j:j:j Paying card no.1 today so will be under 1K on it :T The other 3 will be minimum payments as they are 0%.

Good luck with everything Thriftylass :)

We have all done so well this month! Well done everyone and keep going :T

I've had to edit this, as I've just realised I'm out of black seed oil. As I always suffer from chest infections when they are doing the rounds and this oil is a pharmacy in a bottle for literally everything, I cannot afford to be without it! Luckily the site I get it from had 20% off so I spent 12.24 including delivery :D ! I cannot spend anything more now If I'm to stay in the challenge which should not be too hard.

Well done Stewby-I bet your the happiest person in the park :T
:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:
