Really quick post as I have what seems like a really dry neck driving me crazy. Off to wash any perfume that may be aggravating it and find some cream. Must not itch!!!!!!
If you don't have any hydrocortisone to use, then wash your neck in the kitchen sink in cold water (yes, may sound weird but this water comes direct into house and hasn't gone through your water tank and pipes). Then pat dry with kitchen roll and apply olive oil. Extra virgin really is best, but normal's ok too.
This is my face and neck washing routine for 4-5 months of the year. Otherwise I itch and scratch and flake my face off! Just as well I'm a slap-free zone! All perfumes too, and spray deodorants. I'm pretty cheap to maintain!
Hope the itching clears up.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

I am so glad that it is Saturday today and there was no work. Ok, one phone call, but that was because I forgot to send a link.
I went to a big local market and had a mooch around and then bought the fruit that I went there to get. 24 satsuma's for £6, really big ones too, so that should see me through the week for work. Also, because it is November and dark of an evening, I bought a pound of chestnuts to have tomorrow night.
Then it was on to make a start on the dreaded Christmas shopping to a local ish large new shopping centre. I did quite well, got all the family cards and got some smellies. I treated myself to a pretzel too, I love me a pretzel.
I had a brain wave for my Christmas shopping though. The money was already saved. So I thought, I know, I'll transfer my Christmas budget to my other current account and then I can pay for Christmas stuff on my card and it won't affect my bank balance and I won't have to add up receipts etc. Brilliant idea, patted myself on the back. Transferred the money yesterday, checked it had gone through this morning, off I went!
When coming up with a brainwave though, it always helps to take that accounts card with you. All this new thinking with moneysaving and that card is in another wallet, hidden away. Also, nearly drove off without my currently used wallet, again, I've got so used to leaving it at home that it was natural to walk out the door without it.
After the shopping centre I had to call in at the estate agents to drop off some papers and then went grocery shopping. I spent £27.72 on some top up bits. I bought some fresh milk to save defrosting some for baking tomorrow, some pasta that was on offer and some pumpkin seeds. Ok, so I bought some other stuff but no need to bore you all, lol.
Today was my last spend day. Current total including today is 22 so I am on track to make 25 for NOvember. Still under budget on all my categories too. I love the app that I have, because not only do I have to account for my spending, but it gives me quick easy to see category totals too. It's called 'spending' and if i remember rightly it was free.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend, and wrapped up warm if out and about.Feb NST #4

Evening,
Composed a post this morning but didnt get round to posting. Not been a great day, after feeling a little fragile yesterday and having my holiday messed up at work and having to sort that out and then having issues with someone there I got myself into quite a state. Hit with a migraine and DH came home early to help with the children. I went and slept for a few hours after taking some strong painkillers. Feeling a lot better now but very aware my depression is creeping up again and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all.
Anyway, on the up today was a SFD, i can't guarantee tomorrow will be as we might go out to the beach or the forest, we seriously need some time to be together and have fun and blowing the cobwebs away is just what we need. Spends will be petrol and potentially chip on the sea front.Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -

Well now... a very good evening to you all. Or should I say morning!
Confessions - I think I got flashed today by a speed camera as I came out of a junction infront of a car travelling faster than I thought it was. Sped up to get out of it's way as it immediately changed lanes as well into my lane and go flashed. Not sure if it was me or him but I think it was me. 3100 fine and 3 points - GREAT! That will be the end of Christmas then...
SFD today and tomorrow but already have too much on the card ( personal thread will have a break-down of this) but I think I will start logging absolutely every spend as some of you do. I take out what I know I am allowed but never track it properly. I think it will keep me on track next year when I have no debt to pay off but still need to be as hardcore.
Siouxsie what a nightmare for you. I swear I had nowt to do with it. Hope it gets sorted and I never thought of doing that by going in store and wangling a free session with a geek. I am tempted to go have a look at them but I need something hard wearing that I can travel with and I am not sure a MacBook Air is the best choice. I like Windows and would find it hard to leave.....
Stewby I will put you down at number 8 don't worry .........ahhhhhhhhhhh dedication at it's finest!
Unless anyone else has superstitons about numbers hold fire on the December shout outs - it will be up soon enough!
Fyggy what a classy girl...:rotfl:..was the wine seriously in one of those bottles or were you kidding ( non-drinker stupid question here)...
EyesWideOpen... I just read back on all the posts properly.. I cannot believe it was £3.99 for baby wipes and you only got 24 of them??? What a complete joke.. you are right, they are taking advantage of parents who don't want to wander to far from sick kiddies so will buy them anyway. Disgusting if you ask me. How is bub today?
Clippy what a nightmare for the remortgage. Can I be nosey and ask why you are remortgaging...? I am a bit thick when it comes to housey things so is this a renewal of the old mortgage or actually a remortgage because the money will go elsewhere.... I sound thick I know....:(
Calling14 / Apple Muncher - seee this is what our little MSE "fam" is all about... looking out for one another in the simplest way possible. Incidentally my legs itch a lot, they are very sensitive to temperatuve changes, clothing, non-shaving for too long , you name it. Oil is the only thing that soothes.... I should go back to it I think..
Thrifty ... I just don't bother going into stores any more and currently look like a bag lady. Well done on your £7 find though! I have a £20 voucher for Warehouse as I told my friend ages ago I love their scarves.. but looked at a lovely blouse in there - £45..?? For something that I got in Primarni for £12.. it just makes me angry sometimes.... So I steer clear... and when i have enough money for new things I will do it all at once, buy 20 colour co-ordinated items and that will do me for the year...:rotfl:
Right enough witterings from me... I have to go back to work on another computer... So I shall sign in tomorrow when I am back for more OT.. what thrills....

I hate the look of Windows 8 so now seems as good a time as any to make the switch, I spoke to the CC people today and she said that they are writing to me with instrctions of what to do next. The transaction was flagged up because I haven't used the card since my LBM :rotfl: I cleared my diary of all my second job appointments for next week and I shall wait for the letter to arrive. Now that I know what can be negotiated, I might try for more
I meant to ask you Kat, what do you do with sprouts? I bought some the other day and have just been nibbling them (although I had some on rye bread with vegan cheese spread, avocado and tofu - yum!). I still have some left so ideas would be welcomedI also need inspiration for breakfast - it's been so bloomin cold the last few weeks that I run into the kitchen and make coffee and toast with almond butter then climb back into bed to heat up! Porridge sounds an obvious choice but it's too cold to stand in the kitchen and cook it! Maybe I need a little oil filled radiator in the kitchen that I can switch on before I venture in? I checked a few of my inline survey accounts today and I have enough points to convert to almost £30 of Amazon vouchers...another £20 cash and I could have that extra heater
Sounds like a plan I think!
I know it's not payday yet but I'm running low on petrol - it seems to be cheaper in Central London than where I live so I think I'll fill up next time I'm in (put it on the credit card and pay it off on payday). I always notice that the prices seem to rise by 1p around payday, presumably when everyone fills up - cheeky!
Yikes to the camera flash  Although, I've been flashed a few times and never heard anything about it so hopefully you'll be lucky. How gutted will you be if you get a fine?!! After everything you've done to save the money! Fingers crossed you don't hear another thing about it!0
