I'm still here. I coloured my hair today, but managed to miss a patch or two of my roots *sobs*. Luckily the missed patches aren't noticeable really, so I'll just need to wait another fortnight untill I get my next giro to buy another dye to fix it.
Listed some things on Ebay, applied for more jobs, no surveys, done my clicks.....*sigh*
It really is utterly fe*king depressing me that there are sales on everywhere and I don't have money to stock up on things I need like new fitting clothes, suits for interviews ect. It's also starting to get to me that I've got untill the 7th August to come up with just under £300 for my electricity bill otherwise they're comming into my flat to put in a card meter.
I need a massage, my back and neck muscles are crunching.

So here's my update: Things-got-worse
After calling the jobcentre to say I couldn't make my signing time because I had an interview to get ready for, and being told that it was ok....they cut me off. Fan bloomin tastic, eh? Anyway, I attended the jobcentre on Monday for my signing on interview, my signing day is back to its normal (friday) and in all it will be three weeks before recieving a payment again. I've had to break into my change jar (£5) and also take out my gala bingo winnings I was saving in there too (£20). I've only spent the money on things that MUST be bought/paid and have all but £3.50 left after I pay this weeks rent debt repayment.
I called my housing officer as soon as I got landed in the !!!!!! and explained the situation. I called her again on monday to confirm that not only has my benefit been stopped, my housing and counciltax payments have been stopped too. She was very sympathetic and told me they tried to do the same to her husband a while ago, so she knows what I'm going through. She also said she'd send me out a hardship fund application to keep me ticking over untill I have income again. She's amazing, when I do get back into work I'm sending her a big bouquet and box of chocs.
Aside from that not much has been happening at all. I've been going to my mums house to be fed and sleeping most of the time to help the days pass (and to keep my mind off things so the depression doesn't take root again).
I was taking part in the £1000 in two months challenge, but aiming for £300 since being on benefit I take home little over £400pcm. Needless to say, I haven't done itMy clicks and things are going slowly but steadily, here's how I've done since joining in June:
Pigsback - £10.00 / Myshopping rewards- £5.33 / FreeFivers - £33.45 TopCashBack - £4.84 / Quidco - 24.50 / Lightspeed points - 670TOTALING - £83.12Thats all from me for now xDebt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:

Ooh I was in the pound shop today looking to pick up a pie in the tin for dinner when I spotted they had Iams 11+ senior dry catfood in 300g bags! That's the food my Babes needs for her stomach! So I left the pie (I'll have rice or something for dinner) and spent my last £4 on four bags. Sounds silly but I'm over the moon, Babes got the food she needs so her tummy isn't compromised due to my skintness. The 300g bags are usually around £2.20 each, so I've saved £4.80 by picking them up in the pound shop. I think I'll cash in the coppers and go pick up more tomorow, it's too good an offer to pass up, and for tomorows dinner I'l go to mums then Saturday the boyfriend feeds me
I've got MSE on the brain!

Good news on the cat food - isn't it great when you can get an unexpected bargain that makes you smile - and it sounds as though you will have enough to feed babes for a good while without spending more!
Make sure you look after yourself too, though. What about a tin of chopped tomatoes (about 15p) and some dried herbs to mix through the rice and give it a bit of flavour and some more vitamins for you. Tomatoes are very good!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I've still got some apples in the fridge and a melon from my last asda shop over two weeks ago (my fridge must hold the key to eternal youth!). I might chop up an apple and mix it in with some pasta and tinned tuna. With the odds and sods from the change jar after buying more catfood tomorow I'll pick up some tinned tomatoes.
But I've just found I have a Bluebottle problem  I've been killing them left right and centre but I'm sure they're comming from my kitchen  Kim and aggie would have me hung drawn and quatred if they found out! F*cking hell, I don't know where they're comming from! Im gonna be sick!!!
Need to go deal with this. back later xxDebt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:

Lost an open can of catfood down the back of the chest freezer. I was sure I already had a can open a few days back, but when I went to get it it wasn't there. I thought I was going loopy. That's taught me a lesson, I assure you!Debt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:
