Update
RPTR is going very slowly. I've no stock to work on at the moment but looking to buy some in on Saturday. I did however sell the guinea I worked on, on ebay. She went for £10.50 with £4P&P. After my ebay invoice for december and postage I retianed £2 of that, so I'll leave it in paypal for now. Ideally I want to be able to sell five per week so I can get the rent issue dealt with and move on to the council tax and other arrears.
I've been scouring the survey sites and as you can see I've got a fair number listed in my signature. The plan with thoose is not to touch any earning from them untill either December, or I've earned enough on one survey site to pay off one bill.
I'll be looking at selling away from ebay too, using livejournal communities and Gumtree.

I'm fine thanks, still no love interest but who knows what 2008 will bring? Frizzy hair at the mo as I keep getting rained on, it's not a good look so will have to remember a brolly!
How much does it cost to do a rat/guinea? if you wouldn't be earning more else where it seems like a no brainer especially as you enjoy it anyway.;)Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I got completely soaked comming back from BFs house and I'm currently sporting Au Du Wet-Dog. Not a nice fragrance, I hate my hair getting wet in the rain lol. The rats cost about £3 to make and the guinea cost about £7. At the moment I'm still buying from pet shops but onceI have a bit in the bank I'll be buying directly from suppliers to make a saving. RPTR has so far not gotten off the ground. The pet shop I buy from keeps being closed each time I go so I've not had a chance to get my hands on anything to work on. I've found another pet shop a bit more local so I'll be calling them to find out if they carry frozen stock and if so I'll be looking to spend £10 in there today. I absolutley must get on with this project. Not only for the sake of making the cash to pay the rent arears, but also for the sake of taking my hobby seriously. Since it's taking more time than I imagined to get the stock, I'll set myself a target of £100 from RPTR for January. It should be reachable.
I've also started slicethepie. I managed to lock myself out of my account the other day andI'm still waiting on a new password being sent. It's quite interesting. In my first day of using STP I made £8.40 (over about six hours) so there's alot of potential there to make cash. I gave myself a £5 per day STP target, so once I get my password back for the site I'll be throwing myself back into that. Once I get to £50 I'll withdraw it to the bank then put it directly to the rent arrears.
Change savings is also going pretty slowly. I really don't spend much from one day to the next so I don't have alot of change to save really. What I've done there is add a £1 coin with any loose change to the jar each day then take it to the credit union on Friday. So by the end of the year there'll be £365 in the CU with the addition of whatever loose change is added and saved weekly.
I've been accepted by shopandscan after a wait of around six months. Just waiting for my clicker and software to arrive in the post any day now. That'll be an extra £30ish by the end of the year for next to no effort really.
Soon after I completed some details at shopandscan I was sent a survey by My TNS, I totally forgot they do surveys too. I've been plugging away at surveys and pigsback clicks too, I need to keep an eye out for emails for surveys more than I have been doing recently. Every little helps, even ciao's awfull 30 minute surveys for 10p, it all adds up.
That's about it for now. Hope everyone is doing well out there xxxDFW, more than just a forum, it's a way of life

Hi JCD, can't stop, as I am late getting dressed for going to work.
Will post properly later this evening. Hope you have a good day and good luck at the new pet shop.

Oops - realised that I get an extra 20 mins at home today, as I am on some training thing so I can come back and write a less hurried post now that I am dressed!
I hope you get the slicethepie password through - I did a bit, about £5, over Christmas but haven't got back into it. I was still at 1 star after 200 reviews and that peed me off a bit as everyone else seemed to be on at least 2! I will give it another go, after all money is money, however small the amount may be!
i think the adding of £1 for the credit union every day is a good idea - it will give you a good amount at the end of the year to do something positive with.

I'm so glad to be using the credit union again, even for small amounts it's still something saved. Fingers crossed for the pet shop, I'll be calling them at 9am and hopefully out and back by 11am with some critters to defrost and get working on today.
You have a good day m'luv, enjoy your training xDebt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:

RPTR is finally underway! I manged to scrape some cash together and pick up some critters on Monday. To be honest, I'm not entirely happy about the shop I bought from and I'm considering reporting it. I bought a mouse who, when defrosted, showed signs of either dying of old age or starvation. He was litterally skin on bone. I'm not happy that the pet shop owner would happily sell someone 'snake food' of this quality. And the condition of the others which I didn't take away with me was just as deploreable. I'll deal with that later.
I know it isn't alot to kick me off but I have one juvenile male and one pup rat to be finished today. If I can get to £40 with theese two I'll be over the moon. The pup was hellish to work on because he's only three inches nose to tail tip.
Still doing my surveys and the occassional piggy click when it shows up. I recieved my shop and scan equipment yesterday too, so as soon as I start using that I'll be earning. Infact, having the shop and scan scanner will more than likely force me into doing a propper weekly shop. I wonder how they'll react when they find out I spend £5 per week on food! :rotfl:
Gas payment meter was fitted yesterday too. Scottish power *cough*morons*cough* haven't sent me a top up card, so the fitter had to credit the machine with £10 to keep me going untill it arrives.
That's about it so far. xDebt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:
