Thanks Spicy
I have to admit I still like pigsback, it'll do for birthday/christmas vouchers if anything.
I've still to use the shop and scan thing, I didn't get around to doing a food shop this week so it'll need to wait untill next. xDebt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:

RPTR - In progress, I'll not know if I have items for sale untill a week from now. This is drying out time where I can see if the piece I've made is a success or failure.
Stuff in the mail
I recieved my Gas payment card today, two of them infact. I guess the postie failed to deliver one before the other was ordered.
A letter from the council tax collections dept arrived today. Apparently I've not kept to a debt repayment and they'll be sending out a recovery team. Or as the letter states
"Please note that you will recieve no further notice before recovery action is taken against you and kindly treat this matter seriously"
Ehm, have I just been patronised? Idiots. I've been on the phone to them for the best part of five hours and all I've had was an engaged tone. OH! And the letter itself is dated 11th January, yet earlier in the letter they say if I don't contact them within five days of the date of issue my account will go to a debt recovery agency. Well, it'd be helpfull if you didn't send my mail by TNT Post then you bunch of twits *sigh*
Scottish power sent me a cheque today, for £20No real explanation aside from
"This payment has been made because we failed under our Garunteed Standard of Service"That's it. nothing more. Oh well, I'll pop this into the bank tomorow then straight to the credit union once cleared.
I'm off to make my noodles for dinner xDebt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:

Yeah, I'll be speaking to someone about it tomorow when I'm after leaving the jobcentre. I think I'll call scottish power and ask them for specifics about this cheque, knowing my luck they'd say it was an error and want it back within a week or two :rotfl:
I'm so tired today, doesn't help that I'm one day off the tobacco

RPTR is on hold, again.
I managed to screw up the critters I had and it's put me in such a downer.
The £20 I was sent from scottish power won't be saved after all. I'll need to put it towards my basic rent repayment as well as gas and electricity for this week. Whatever change I have left might go towards more supplies. The phone bill is over due to be paid so that needs paid on Wednesday then I'll have £45 to get me through the next fortnight.
Everything else is going slowly at best. Pretty fed up really.
cuppa then bed. xDebt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:

You're still learning - of course you're going to make mistakes. Don't be so hard on yourself...JCD_Capulet wrote: »Everything else is going slowly at best. Pretty fed up really.

I need to go have a good hard think about this. I want to be debt free this year, so badly! I'd have a cuppa, but I don't buy milk any more because it coupled with coffee or tea is an expence I don't need, and boiling the kettle uses power.
I'm off to have a diluting juice and a think.Debt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:

Hi JCD,
Have you had another go with the rats? that could bring a wee bit in. are you still managing to stay off the backy?
Hope you are keeping cheery - you sound a bit defeated, not like your old determined self at all. Keep going, you'll get there. xMortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Hiya SS, I did have another go with the rats, I've got three drying out right now. It won't be untill next week that I'll be able to list the first one, and the week after for the other two. Drying out time is quite time consuming. I managed to make a little butterfly rat with pre bought wings and a little black rat pup that was given to me by the pet shop. He'd been attacked by an older male and died, so I've given him wings and a flowerpot of black paper roses to perch on. I'd like to show him off if nobody objects?
Yup, still off the tobacco, as much as it's killing me (metaphoricly speaking, of course) not that I can really spare the cash to buy some anyway. I have to admit, I am quite down at the moment but that's just proof that the Ups exist. You gotta be up to come down.
How's things over your way SS? *hug* thanks hon xDebt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:
