Forgive me if my updates are less frequent whilst I deal with this.

Good luck dealing with your demons, Joanne. We will miss you. And it sounds as if you have a genuine buyer there so I'm sure the cheque will clear fine.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Thanks for your thoughts ladies x
After sitting up untill 4.30am writing in my blog, letting things out that I'd kept locked away I went to bed but couldn't sleep for thinking. Last night seemed so bleak, I really thought I'd be in hospital today if not wandering the street with a packed bag just wanting to go away. Thankfully I feel better, but just slightly.
I called my doctor and had a chat with him on the phone. He's refered me to a counselor at my local practise and given me the number for breathingspace so I can talk to them when I need to. What tipped me over the edge was finding out that the ex-stepdad had turned up at my mums old house looking for her and my sister. I've been doing stomach flips since finding out and I guess that's what made me snap. Despite my expressing my worries, the doctor still refuses to consider the posibilities that I may be suffering from bipolar/unipolar manic depression. Anyway, I'll be getting counseling soon, so it's a start at least.
Back to business. I received the cheque today, banked, scanned a copy for my records and it should be cleared for Monday. Unfortunatly Ebay have gone into my bank account and whipped out the fees for that auction, leaving me £10 untill Monday. Ach, I'll get by. I always do.
Thanks again ladies, xxxxxxxDebt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:

£10 until Monday - a veritable fortune. You can live like a Queen on that, and still have some spare come Tuesday!
Hope you are feeling a little better now, and that you have managed to speak to one of the professionals today.

Hiya peeps x
I'm feeling a bit better than I was thanks to talking stuff over with breathing space folks. Thanks again for your thoughts out there fellow DWF's x
Due to waiting for the cheque to clear I've not sent the package of yet. On Monday I'll be picking up stock to list individually on ebay to help get my feedback rating up. Hopefully I'd be turning over enough stock between now and December to become a powerseller, but this depends on my feedback (and sales obviously). I recieved a neg some months bad from a mad woman who I ended up reporting and she was removed, and received a neutural recently for the buyer having no concept of grams *sigh*
Anyway, it's all exciting stuff xxDebt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:

My neighbour is being wierd again
He still asks me if he can 'borrow' Clio, my youngest cat for the duration of his daughters weekend visits. See, I wouldn't mind, but Clio (when I took her away from him) was under fed with bones showing and very skittish and bitey due to his behaviour on alcohol.
Well, I've just heard him and his daughter outside my door calling on the cat, then as I was running my bath I heard stuff hitting the floor. He's encouraging her to put catfood through my letterbox
Ehm, I don't want to come off sounding nasty here. I mean, when he's sober he's a nice guy and I'm sure his daughter is still a bitty upset about the cat not being with him anymore (for good reasons!), but I'm not happy about food being dropped through my door for the cat. For one thing, I monitor what they eat to keep them in good health. And Babes being the fatty that she is would scoff anything on sight without thinking about it before hand. She has different nutritional needs from Clio, and all this aside.....I don't like having bits of cooked chicken and Spar dry cat food (which gives Babes exema which makes her scratch untill she bleeds, which now also explains why it's been flairing up again!!!!) dropped through my F-ing letter box :mad:Debt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:

what about attaching a bin bag to the inside of the letterbox and it will catch it all? or wrap clio up in a blanket and take her out and say something like "poor clios sick she can only have medicine til she s better so maybe youd like to save the catfood til shes better? " hopefully they ll chuck it in the bin. i can empathise with you cos i used to have mad neighbours who insisted on feeding my overweight irish wolfhound loads of raw meat (urrrrrrrrrgh)
lets hope he doesnt get himself a catmember number 240 in da norn irn club

Ooh, strange behaviour with the cat food - I think a bag in the letterbox to catch it all is the easiest form of action - that way you can just gather it up and bin it as appropriate.
Good luck with the next lot of ebay stuff - I have something ending in an hour or so - currently at £11.49 so that will be a very useful addition to the debt pot.

Hi everyone :hello:
The cheque cleared today, bought everything I need to with it and it's all arriving tomorow! So excited! Got alot of things to do tomorow:- sort items on arrival
- nip out to buy a box for posting (£1 for the box)
- home again and package up the sold lot
- nip to the post office to send said package
- list my new stock on ebay
I also need to get some passport pictures taken so I can have my ID card for the credit union made up. I want to start using the CU again because having money just sitting in the bank is too accessable. Ordering online/over the phone/withdrawing from cash machines is too much of a temptation. The brilliant thing about putting your money in a CU is that to remove it can take anything up to an hour, so you have enough time to re-think wether or not you really want to take the money out, and buying on a whim is impossible.
That's all from me, time to go get the pasta on
