  • Hey...just read your diary from the start and I wanted to say well done! You've made such an improvement in mood and motivation, and I really hope things continue for you. Before the ebaying came about, I was going to suggest have you thought about voluntary work? Will keep you busy as well as giving you skills for your CV, as well making you look like although you're not earning money, you are very willing to work!

    Joanne.

(a stern but kindly ticking off coming here, sorry)

This board is fo spouting off any emotions you may have which is affecting you day to day life, your emotional wellbeing or sleep patterns, whether positive (selling the jewellery) or negative (the row with mum) you are MORE than entitled to share it here with us.
A problem shared is a problem halved and WHATEVER you need or want to talk about you go for it girl, hey if southernscouser can discuss his spuds and even start a thread on said topic, what you post on your diary is your business!! By his 'spuds' I hope you mean potatoes! :rotfl:
I'm chuffed to pieces for you with the jewellery and so glad to hear that it is going really really well. if you want to chat re mum but don't want to post it then just pop me a PM and we'll have a natter.
Big big hugs and please don't knacker yourself out to much or you'll start to get down again which is no good for you. xxxx
Thanks alot Pania, it does help to talk, but me being me I worry that I'm now constantly chewing the ears off the folk at breathingspace! I'll remember your offer hon, thanks again x
    Hiya Joanne,

Congrats on doing so well at Ebaying! Its something I have been thinking of starting as a proper sideline although cant decide on what I would sell.

*puts on a stern voice* I do not expect to hear any more comments on what you shouldnt say on this board! I got dumped temporily as it turned out and was in a right start so I started a thread and cried on everyones shoulders. After all, we who are worried enough about money do not need to bottle other problems up or we may spontaneously combust and thats not a pretty thought!

Try and get more sleep, it will make you feel so much better, I know it can be hard, but I found that nightnurse and regular bedtimes/get up times is the best way. Even on the weekends I am now up at 8 at the latest and often its about 6.30-7:eek:

If you ever need a shoulder to cry on during work hours then you can always pm me as I am always logged in, even if I am not posting on this board.

*in a non tellingy off voice again*

Still well done you :T and making overpayments is just fab! :T
Thanks alot shineyhappy, I'm just so used to keping stuff in to avoid upsetting others or bringing them down that it's almost second nature. But you're right, I should let it out. Thanks for the offer of a gab if I'm going iffy again xx Hope you're doing better now too!

Ditto to everything said above, this is the one place I have to spout off and I use it. Never feel like it has to be all sunshine.

How you get some good sleep and well done on the over payments and the jewelery sound wonderful!
Thanks Lucy x I'm planning on an early night tonight as I've got an early start tomorow and loads to get done. It was just a wee overpayment, but every little helps I guess, and i'll keep on updating about the jewellery too xx

Hi Superwoman!! One of the good things about having a diary is that it is "your" thread - therefore you can put on here anything that you wish - it is all part or "your" journey.

If someone feels they don't want to read about anything other than pure debt busting, then they are unlikely to read the diaries. so you are unlikely to upset anyone with your ranting!

I know that the way I am feeling has a direct impact on my ability to get through the debt problems - so I feel it is all intertwined and relevant.

Hope you don't wear yourself out today - remember that as a successful businesswoman, you need to keep your energy up xx
Superwoman?! :rotfl: How did you know I had my S logo knickers on today? :p You're SO right about everyting being intertwined, it's a hell of a rollercoaster sometimes and as the departed Bill Hicks used to say: "It's just a ride". I've eaten a read made prawn salad from asda and stopped drinking coffee and tea today. It did get to the point where I was shaking I was so wired. So it's diluting juice from here till bed time x Thanks alot hon xx

Thanks alot for commenting dearbarbie x I didn't think I'd changed much in outlook although I know my attitude to money has turned on its heels since joining. It's nice to see a new face (or username as the case may be) around theese parts, and I see you're not long in joining too. Welcome to MSE and DFW, the folk around theese parts are amazing! I hope you'll love it here. Thanks again hon xx

Cheers luv, have you changed your avitar? We've got so many Jo's in the place I can't keep track of us all :rotfl: Things with mum will be sorted soon enough, she and I both know I usually lay low for a day or two if I've goneoff on one about something. It'll all be fine again before the weekend. Thanks hon xx

I need to try to stop complaining on here about home life things, I need to keep that off an dout of MSE and just try to concentrate on the task at hand.

Jees! Yesterday and the day before must have taken it out of me. I remember lying on my bed at 7pm-ish because my eyes were nipping and I could barely keep still. Then I was woken up at midnight by a friend who sent me a text. I'm glad he text though! I'd put the heating on and forgotten about it, and all the lights in the flat were on too. Gah, power wastage. *recieves five of the cane from Martin*

I went back to bed at 12.30 and that was me untill Clio started nudging my arms at 10am for me to get up and feed her.

Well, I'm feeling a bit better again today (I thought my outbursts might have something to do with the not being able to have a period thing, my arm ached today on the side which has the implant. So I know that if I could have my monthly visitor, it would be happening around now. So....could explain the severe leap in emotions and things. I dunno)

ANYWAY! Thanks everyone, you're all very special xxxxxxxxxx

Hi hun. Make sure you go to bed at a proper time tonight - you need to get your sleep pattern back to "normal" again otherwise you will burn yourself out x

Yeah, early bed for me tonight. I tend to try to go to bed early on a Friday because I go away to see my BF on the Saturday and going to sleep earlier makes time pass quicker so I can be with him :happyhear

I really need a week of early sleeping to get rid of the dark sagged eyes I've given myself through crying and late nights, eugh.

Anyway, hope all is well with you hon, I've not had a minute to chek your thread yet. I've been doing ebay things and trying to get this flat in order....AND been doing kitchen stuff. Deffo early bed tonight!

Ooh, did I tell you freefivers paid me out, and quidco too? I wasn't ecpecting it but all together that's an unexpected £52 for the credit union :)

  • I will second Hypno and you have to be good and look after yourself and get plenty of sleep so you will feel better inside and out!

You never have to feel bad about crying/whinging on anyones shoulder here. I think as long as you are ok about us crying on your shoulder from time to time, then we can return the favour too! This place is great for getting stuff off your chest and you know that you wont worry us like you would worry a family member, but you still get plenty of kind words and/or advice.

I dont think that I have ever seen one of your posts that wasnt supportive and kind so its a karma thing to me. We all have down periods in our lives and sometimes we are naughty and need a stern talking to! ;) So you better look after yourself or we will come up and give you a severe ticking off :grouphug: well as much as any of us are capable off!

Hi SH :) Oh yes, I'd give anyone else shoulder to cry on if needed, I feel indebted (but the good kind) to all the lovley MSE and DFW folk I've spoken to on here already. Without all you guys I'd be in one heck of a situation by now. So yes, if I need another stern talking to I'll be expecting one of theese! -> spank.gif :rotfl:

Righty, let me lighten this thread of mine up a bit. I'll try to post a daily funny link to keep us all giggling, so here's todays one.

    *EDIT!*
changed the sweary one I posted for a more family friendly one, this cracks me up every time!
