    afternoon all!!!

Finished up but can't be bothered to copy the list and cross off the little bits etc - though I didnt clean all the windows as there are so many to do in these rooms, so I put them on a rota except for the dog snot marks which I do most days!

Oh, and I havent got into the airing cupboard yet as still struggling to repack the books ready for moving and to be able to still find them till we do!

Seems everyone is doing good - including the new ones! Little bits make all the difference :D

Glad to see you feeling better pigpen!!!!

DH did the same thing to me when he came in from football last night. I also have not done much today either. I cannot seem to get my almost 3yo to sit on the sofa while I mop (did manage to sweep though). He said "Mummy stop cleaning now, i've had enough cleaning" lol. Is a bit of a losing battle whilst he is up.

Oh wiping light fittings, good one, I haven't added that for a while so will put that with tomorrows. Pigpen pleased to hear you're feeling better.

Managed to get some things done in living room, DP is out tonight so unless I get called out elsewhere I'll do the rest then as he's hopefully taking DS2 with him. Got a mountain of laundry to put away that's dried, another load out on the airers now. Can't wait to see the bottom of the basket :(

Friends flights landed on time, haven't had to go and get her, she knows I am here if she needs me but on the other hand I don't want to intrude.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Hi everyone

Just got back from the school trip with DD and DS (I was there as a helper!) We went to Wollaton Park near Nottingham, lovely place and great weather.

Flying wise nothing has got done although I did do the windows in the lounge last night! Just need the window cleaner to come and do the outsides so I can see how much I have missed! :rotfl:

Seems like most have you have had a good day flying, hugs to those that need them, glad you are on the mend pigpen and REALLY pleased the flight landed on time lil_me.

Right off to sort something for dinner what should I do? Bacon, veg and cauliflower cheese, sausage veg and gravy or lasagne..... your votes please

Whatever is not done tonight will be on the menu tomorrow and Thurs!

Hugs to lil_me and katharine and anyone else who is having a bad day for any reason.

Not long been in from work so no flying done as yet. First priority, after much needed cuppa, is cooking tea and then getting DS to Woodcraft on time. That'll give me a good hour here after I return to get all jobs sorted. That's the theory anyway!

You're very good AnW'smum, after the school trip to the zoo last week, where we all got absolutely soaked, I took DS out for a Harry Ramsdens as I couldn't be faffed to come home and cook!:rotfl:

Well, I've hit a low point.

Got everything ready to start so that tea was on the table when DH came in (he is out tonight, and doesn't have much time). My version of ratatouille ready to go, but it involves condensed tomato soup. Also had a tin of chickpeas for protein component.

No tinned tomatoes or tubes of tomato puree in house. Lots of tinned tomato soup. Can't find can opener.

Normally I would bung in sausage and oven chips. But I had put all my oven trays to soak in hot water and biological powder (thinking that it would help) and all oven trays are covered in gunge that needed scraping off.

Now, sitting here, I could probably scrape together something, but have called DH to get a takeaway. I feel like nothing. If I was half way decent I would be able to find the can opener.

I wouldn't mind, but the can opener is normally only in two places. I can't find anything. I feel like breaking down and crying because I feel very worthless.

DH will not understand how I feel, but will not be cross, so I thought I would get it out of my system here so that I could get on with things. I just do not know where to turn because everything needs doing first! DS is alright - bottle and baby rice were easily assembled.

    Feel so low.

Hev, none of us are SuperHousewives, we all have days like that, don't get yourself in a tizzy at least you aren't having to cook! Now that has to be a bonus! You are not the only one who looses tin openers, I have ended up borrowing one from a neighbour several times (once I even lost that too :o)

Try just steeping the trays on hot water, usually gets most of the gunk off mine, then wipe over with sponge scourer for anything left.

Hang on in there, it gets easier, trust me (saying that you wouldn't think it here at the mo as you can't even walk in the kitchen :o see we all have blips)
