M6 toll road

Yes it can get very lumpy on the M6 especially during rush hours.0
-
We should be on the M6 about 10 am hopefully sooner.0

You might be ok. The toll road is a longer way round but is always free running.
The road works are a pain and if the weather is bad and there's an accident you can spend the cost of the toll fee on petrol crawling along the M6.
There are gantry warnings should there be any problems.
Have a safe journey.0 -
I suppose it comes down to how much of a hurry you're in.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

The only civilised motorway rest area in the UK!0

£5-50p weekdays for a car no matter what length you travel on it.
The full distance is only twelve miles, must be the biggest rip off going.
French owned and it`s losing money by the bucket full.
Why don`t they cut the price to increase business.0 -
From Devon? to where?
If heading up the M6 you wont benefit from the toll road, you go to the top of M5 then M6 north from 8a. the bad bit around birmingham is between 4a and 10.
If you need to get to the M1, I think you could avoid the toll road (and save yourself some cash). if heading for M42 id come round the south of the city on the m42.0 -

Last time I went on it, it cost £1. That was only to see what the fuss was about.0
