  • I have quite a few, but i'll just ask a couple for now..

1)Blood, never my own blood, in-fact i don't know what or who's is it. I've had many dreams where the roads are flooded with blood, like a river.

2)Slow motion, sometimes when i'm having a nightmare, lets say i'm running to the door, suddenly i will turn slow motion, the people or things trying to get me are still normal speed but i am not.

3)Being at school. Every dream i have about being back at school ends bad (maybe because i had a bad time at school?) I've never once had a normal or happy dream about teachers, or schools.

Sorry they're all negative, i don't have many happy dreams :P

Having said that I don't normally remember dreams, I woke this morning at 07.08 from a dream and still remember some of it now.
In my earlier post I also told you what I thought had triggered my very vivid dream that I can still remember today, but on this occasion I won't tell you what happened that I think shaped the main theme of the dream.

This isn't because I am trying to catch you out, it's more so I don't influence your answer with my pre-conceived ideas.

In my dream I was flying in a helicopter with my boss whilst watching a fixed wing aircraft flying around, and listening to some sort of commentary at the same time.

In the commentary I heard the operator of the aircraft ask that we supply a very specific type of engine control amplifier for the operator to do further flights. My boss agreed to this and then told me to get one of these control units, but I told him we didn't have any and he should have asked me before telling the customer we could do what he wanted.

There then followed a circular argument with me telling my boss we didn't have a "Pack 6 DECU" and him telling me I wasn't meeting the customer's needs. I also remember that my boss was spitting as he spoke.

    I then woke up.

I would be interested in your opinion but I realise that this may be hard as the events I describe are very specific to what I do as a living and what I have been doing for the last few days that I believe influenced this dream.
Hi dreaming about being in a helicopter is representative of ambitions and achievements.
The aircraft you are watching represents a progect or idea, the sky is your thinking space, so I would suggest a new project and or idea is important in acheiving your ambitions.
The aircarft is flying well so it suggests you feel the project is going well, however the commentary/intructions suggests you either need to or are seeking advice about said project.
The argument with your boss suggests an unsettled issue with him, spitting represents anger, contempt and or spite.
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.

Hi blood can be representative of life, love and or passion so seeing so much blood could be indicative of being overwhelmed by one or all of these feelings.
However many women dream about blood just before their period sorry if tmi but perhaps you have heavy periods or your period really affects you in some way.

walking in slow motion indicates feeling powerless, anxious and or frustrated, this suggests you are having a hard time in waking life, that some tremendous stress is almost immobilising you.

When we dream about being at school it can be that we are anxious about our performance and or abilities or that we are going through a period if learning in waking life.

You are pretty close on some of these thoughts.

I had actually been working on an airbase, watching an aircraft ground run with several other aircraft flying around at the time. The project or idea is spot on, but the project was actually to do with aircraft that I had been involved with the day before, and the commentary (I think) was because I was trying to communicate with the ground crew above the noise. The project went really well, and I was seeking advice from the ground crew about the project.

I don't know where the idea for a helicoptor came from, but you are again spot on about unresolved issues with my boss. The things I was dreaming about are exactly the sort of things that happen with him in real life.

All in all, well done. :T:T:T

  • I had a dream recently that I was pulling ivy (or a vine) out of my ear until it reached all the way down the ground. It was quite uncomfortable and it snapped at the end, eventually.

When we have difficulty making a phonecall in our dreams it can mean there is someone we are struggling to connect with in waking life, the urgency of the call indicates there is something you need to say to someone urgently but you don't how what you have to say will be received.
It might be worth trying to remember who you are trying to call it may just be the person you need to have a difficult conversation with.

Hi dreaming about ears indicates a need to be more receptive or responsive to guidance from others, perhaps you are relying on your own intuition a bit too much, the ivy you are pulling from your ear indicates it's someone you have a close relationship with perhaps a long standing one that you need to listen to.

Hey pukkamum, I had a dream last night, that I was in a hot air balloon and I was nervous but also excited, and I was in it traveling to Ireland! Also traveled over water and I remember seeing the sea beneath me and I was worried I was going to end up in it!

Any ideas on it? It was quite a nice dream, and I woke up feeling quite good about it!
