Cars are indicative of our mental state and a car crash is always indicative of a shocking and or painful experience so yes I would say it was about your dads death and the effect it had on your menta state, sorry for your loss.
Dreams use our experiences to give us information about our subconcious minds and important information we may have missed during waking life and so will use a recent or familiar scenario to get a point across, it makes it more recognisable.
Thanks for your reply, I wasn't expecting anything so soonly.
What you say makes sense and on the odd occasion when I have thought about a dream I have usually been able to relate it to an event in the very recent past.
I am still intrigued about the memory of dreams.
I have a phenomenal memory for things that have happened decades ago, especially work related stuff, so I am intrigued that most people forget a dream not long after they wake up. Perhaps this is because it is not a true memory of something that has actually happened.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Thanks for the previous one, Pukkamum, very, very interesting. I've been having lots of vivid dreams that I can remember at the moment, do you know if there's a specific reason? Normally I can't remember them at all.
Last night's one, me and my sister were in Paris for some reason. We decided to go to the Eiffel Tower. We climbed up what we thought was the Eiffel Tower, but it turned out to be a really good-looking fake version, so we walked through the streets to the 'real' one. We climbed up it, it was absolutely tiny compared to irl, and we were commenting how small it was. We then spent literally hours trying to get the right photograph.
We then left and sister wanted to go shopping, so we went into this backstreet shopping place, really shady, and I'd read a guidebook that these places rip you off. She went into a shop where a woman was coming out from with loads of bags, I warned her, and I remember one of the pairs of trousers were 250 euro. Then we left and I woke up.
So weird at the moment...0 -
Hi being lost shows a feeling of losing some direction in life, not being sure you are on the right path.
Walking uphill indicates we are struggling to achieve a certain goal in life, trees are indicative of career goals so i would suggest this dream is about your career, climbing trees is representative of how our achievement of career goals is progressing the or how we wish it to progress the higher the tree the higher the goals, the difficulty and speed of the tree climbing is directly representative of this.
The trees turning into pipes suggests that it is your connection with others that is slowing down your progress, the factory is representative of repetitive thoughts, old ways of thinking, predictability and unchanging habits.
Are others old ways ways of thinking hindering your career progression?
Are you struggling to connect with these people who are unchanging in their ways of doing things?
Have you become repetitive and predicatable in your thinking and or your career?
Ok heres the positive bit, dousing yourself in chemicals is basically embracing transformation, using your creativity, intellect and powers of manipulation to give yourself wings.
Wings are freedom and an indication of being on the right track and this will lead to you soaring to success without limitations.
You are slightly restricted in your flight though, that factory roof, old habits, thoughts, ways of doing things will hinder your flight somewhat so you need to overcome these in able to fully fly.
Landing at the village shows that the need to follow rules, restrictions put upon you are stopping that flight to success.
The tents tell you to make a temporary change, take some time away from the daily grind, if you do so you will become a butterfly.
The butterfly is representative of longevity, creativity, joy and spirituality, a new way of thinking and transformation!
Wowsers what a telling dream!
If its applicable that is!
Feedback really welcome here!
Wow!
I have recently changed jobs as I was very unhappy in my old job, it was dragging me down due to problems outside my control that I couldn't solve, people who were stuck in their ways and the same old things repeating over and over. I felt like I was stuck in a complete rut.
I saw an advert for my new job by chance, applied and got it and I love it - I have got the freedom to do things the way that I want to and use my own ideas much more. (although there are still some restrictions and limitations - but I can live with them)
Scarily accurate, I am knocked out by your interpretation0 -

Hi the eiffel tower represents strength and longevity, the fact that it is a copy much smaller than the real one suggests to me that you are putting up a show of strength to others but inside you don't feel strong or as strong as you appear to be.
This also fits with it being fake, when we dream about something thats fake we are not revealing a true side of ourselves.
The concern about being conned is worry that or feeling that we are being taken advantage of.
Trying to take a picture but being unable to suggests that some outside influences are stopping you from being able to clearly focus on what you need to do.
Taking a picture can also indicate a desire to hold onto a certain moment in life.
A lot of your dreams seem to concern health, strength etc have you some concerns about your health you aren't adressing?
The fact you are having such vivid dreams would indicate there is a lot going in your subconcious that you aren't addressing in waking life, try and use the dreams to address subconcious worries.
Keeping a dream diary may be helpful xI don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -

I have a phenomenal memory for things that have happened decades ago, especially work related stuff, so I am intrigued that most people forget a dream not long after they wake up. Perhaps this is because it is not a true memory of something that has actually happened.
Remembering dreams can depend on how vivid they are, how relevant they are etc.
However the main key to remembering dreams is lying as still as possible after waking, any movement we make makes the dream fade away.
So it may be simply that some of us leap out of bed and others lay for a while even just five minutes will do it.
My dh for example leaps out of bed as soon as his alarm goes off whereas I always try and lay for a few minutes, he very rarely remembers his dreams but I do.
Dreams are created in the same place as our memories are stored so they are always based on a memory, they aren't just random images as many think.
Our brains collate so much information in a day, it picks up speech intonation, body language, facial expressions, words spoken that conciously we aren't aware of but are actually important.
Dreams are the brains way of giving us this important information that's why dreams are so important and analysing them is such a useful tool in getting to the bottom of feelings we can't otherwise explain.
Dream deprivation has been studied, test subjects were given a drug to supress their dreams.
Once they were allowed to dream again they had at least twice the normal amount of dreams per night, thats how important getting the information into our concious brain is.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -

a bit odd
Water is always representative of our emotions and feelings and it's a very literal representation, muddy dirty water is negative feelings and emotions, water where it shouldn't could be indicating a feeling of inappropriate emotion.
The size of the water how much these emotions are featuring in waking life.
So always take note of the conditions of the water is it rough, smooth, clear etc, it's a great insight into your emotional subconcious.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
Pukkamum, really is so spooky, I have been worrying myself sick as I promised the Nurse I would lose some weight and I'm due to go before her in a few weeks and I haven't lost a single pound and I'm terrified as she's a real battleaxe!0

Having said that I don't normally remember dreams, I woke this morning at 07.08 from a dream and still remember some of it now.
In my earlier post I also told you what I thought had triggered my very vivid dream that I can still remember today, but on this occasion I won't tell you what happened that I think shaped the main theme of the dream.
This isn't because I am trying to catch you out, it's more so I don't influence your answer with my pre-conceived ideas.
In my dream I was flying in a helicopter with my boss whilst watching a fixed wing aircraft flying around, and listening to some sort of commentary at the same time.
In the commentary I heard the operator of the aircraft ask that we supply a very specific type of engine control amplifier for the operator to do further flights. My boss agreed to this and then told me to get one of these control units, but I told him we didn't have any and he should have asked me before telling the customer we could do what he wanted.
There then followed a circular argument with me telling my boss we didn't have a "Pack 6 DECU" and him telling me I wasn't meeting the customer's needs. I also remember that my boss was spitting as he spoke.
I then woke up.
I would be interested in your opinion but I realise that this may be hard as the events I describe are very specific to what I do as a living and what I have been doing for the last few days that I believe influenced this dream.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0
