Oh wow, Nearly everything you've said can relate to how I'm feeling right now, and It's making me want to re-assess some things in my life too.
As for the broody bit..I'm a bit too old to want more childrenbut this can be associated with my daughter, who has been trying for a baby for many years.
Spot on Pukkamum, thankyou. :A x0 -
Ever since I was a little kid ive had weird dreams about fish, either they are flopping about on the floor and im desperately trying to find some water to put them in, or they are in really dirty water and im scared theyre going to die. Or on one occasion they were just swimming round in the air in the living room - in the dreams im always upset to the point of being hysterical about it - would LOVE to know what on earth its all about! Thank you!
The fish being on the verge of death or your fear of them dying can represent basic urges that are not being expressed or fear of never being able to express them.
I sometimes think these dreams are linked to sexual awakening and urges, especially in youngsters, and can be very scary, they often appear just before or during puberty.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
Why do I often dream my teeth are falling out? it's quite upsetting in the morning and I check frantically to make sure I haven't really lost any and it's only a dream.
Also, often dream about huge spiders, the other night one as big as a cat was running round the room. it was terrifying  I guess that was more of a nightmare.
Thanks in advance.0 -
I had an absolute corker last night, and I can remember it so vividly this morning it's a bit creepy.
Me, OH and my family were all travelling around the US on a horsedrawn cart, like a gypsy wagon, camping out and stopping at various eateries.
We pulled up at one place, unhitched the horse and I went inside to get some water for him. There was one old chap serving, and I shoved (which I'd never do irl!) three or four people trying to get his attention away and asked for the water. He then took an old-style resin bowl, heated it up and gave it to me. Took it to the horse, had a drink, all fine. Woke up next morning and horse is very ill, won't stand up, etc, so I phone a vet and start trying to help.
Then who else but Tom Cruise rolls up (He'd been also camping in a wagon nearby) and offers aid as he's a qualified vet (!!!!!!) and assists the horse, but says there's nothing we can do and the horse is dying of consumption...
Then I woke up... what the hell?
Hi the horse and carriage represents thoughts about the natural processes of life, youth to old age, your travelling around, having a lovely time with your family shows a feeling of having had a full life with lots of different pleasurable experiences.
The unhitched horse is representative of your strength, power, endurance and virility.
The horse needs to drink, this means you have needs that must be met to retain and or utilise the traits mentioned above.
You have a struggle to get the water, are you struggling to meet these needs?
The dying horse indicates a loss of energy and or motivation leading to illness or depression I wonder if the prospect of getting older, old age worries you, are you feeling older as a result of the loss of strength, motivation etc.
When we dream of celebrities we need to think about the trait we most associate with them, the dream is telling you to embrace these traits to help deal with the aforementioned losses but be aware that some loss of strength energy and or motivation is inevitable with old age.
So to summarise this is a dream about your passage through life and fears about old age.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
I had a very bizarre one last night. I had to read up on part of meaning of it myself as Pukkamum doesn't think my accounts are genuine, either that or she's another man hating lesbian like the majority of the nutters on this part of MSE. Anyhow Pukkamum-Kenobi I'm a bit stuck, can you please help me, you're my only hope.
Anyhow, I was on a ship on very choppy water and I was hooked up to a load of drips and wires as I had Aids. There were no doctors on board and I was being thrown from side to side as the boat made it's journey.
Pretty f*cked up stuff eh!? Apparently the aids bit has something to do with my psychological integrity being attacked, but put that with the ship on choppy water and I'm a bit lost.
I want to go back to the good old days when I used to do so many drugs I could never really remember my dreams. Just wake up with morning glory and then get on with it.
Hi bazey well a ship is representative of your journey through life, basically your thoughts and emotions at this point in time, the sea is rough indicating your emotions are slightly all over the place at the moment you feel life is rough going at the moment.
Why is this I hear you ask.
Well the illness is indicative of negative attitudes from others that are making you have have negative thoughts, the fact that the illness is aids and the boat is lurching suggests these attitudes are causing you real emotional upheavel.
Don't wish the dreams away bazey use them to change and deal with the aspects of your life that are causing them, that's why we have them.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -

Losing your teeth in a dream suggests there is some situation in waking life that is shaking your confidence, perhaps you are doubting your ability to deal with said situation.
The spider is representative of an emotional situation we are or fear becoming entangled in, you worry about being trapped by the situation.
This often happens as a result of putting others needs before your own.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
Hi I have really wrestled with this dream, there is so much imagery so feedback would be really welcome here.
This dream seems to be all about your own power, independence, love and loyalty.
When we dream about a celebrity we are thinking about the traits we most associate with that person, being hunted by her suggests they are traits you need to adopt or utilise but are not doing so.
I'd say thats right as I feel sometimes am a push over and need to be a bit more selfish and mean to people. (I dreamt of Charlize Theron as the Evil Stepmother from Snowwhite) I'd literally only just watched Snowwhite so probably why i thought of her.
When we dream of unknown people in dreams they are representing different aspects of our personalities, you are leading these people into a cave, the cave is an unexplored aspect of your nature, so it suggests there are many aspects to your personality that you are underusing or ignoring, perhaps hiding away.
The wolves and dogs in your dream represent loyalty, independence, power and love, perhaps these are the traits of yourself you are underusing or you need to express more, perhaps you feel these traits aren't being recognised by others, perhaps you don't feel others are being loyal or loving enough.
Yeah also true I always feel like I am very loyal to people and don't get the same back and the same for loving.
Drugs represent having different views to others, you refusing to use the drugs suggests perhaps you aren't accepting others points of view or you feel your point of view isn't being heard or understood.
Am not really sure about that I tend to take on board other people's views and am fair but prehaps I do deep down feel that people sometimes don't value my opinion due to me being young. At the moment am lacking in confidence in my career path of makeup especially compared to other class members and feel as the baby of the group ( they all tend to have children and older than me) my points are ignored or brushed aside.
A stranger with a message is your subconcious talking to you, he is asking for money and money represents our value to others and or our successes, the fact your mum and dad feature so heavily in this part of the dream suggest it is perhaps your parents that you want to feel more valued by or that you want your successes to be recognised by them.
Wouldn't even think that it would be linked to that but yes I feel very undervalued by my parents most of the time. I thought it be more linked with my mother as it was her the stranger was asking for money off .
When we attack in a dream we are releasing pent up frustration and anger with the a situation in life, perhaps the one described above.
Then again parents can also represent power, shelter and love so perhaps you aren't valuing these things enough.
Horses in dreams represent personal urges and passions riding the horse indicates trying to harness and direct your passions but not being able to do so due to some restrictiveness in waking life.
Once again lacking in confidence and funds for my career in Makeup compared to others is heavily playing on my mind.
As this dream involves stairs i would suggest it is your working life that is not allowing you to utilise or embrace your passions, your career path feels maybe unsure or unstable.
Same as above really isn't it.
Fainting in a dream suggests there are issues or feelings that you aren't confronting in waking life, your bag being stolen indicates the issues and feelings are to do with not feeling valued.
I would say I feel valued in work (though am only new) but prehaps am feeling like am not good enough due to not knowing what to do sometimes.
Phew!
As i say feedback really welcome, if preferred feedback by pm, it would be very welcome here x
Sorry about the long post haha. My dreams are always quite crazy and vivid. Thanks for taking the time to analysis it made me realise how I feel undervalued by my parents and colleagues but also undervalue myself as have no confidence to pursue my dream career.0 -
I've just stumbled across this thread and find it really fascinating. With one exception I can't remember any dreams more than a day or so after they have occurred, and in most cases I have forgotten (how do I know I have forgotten if I can't remember them) within an hour of waking.
I do know that I have woken from a dream and then thought, oh, that part of the dream was to do with the TV prog I watched the night before, or that dream was to do with something that I experienced. So, I might have had a dream about a 'plane crash the night after I witnessed a car accident IYSWIM.
The only dream I can remember is one where I lost control of my car on a very specific part of the M5 that I drive along every day. The car rolled and started to disintegrate, then I was bouncing along the motorway outside the car thinking I was about to die before finally coming to a halt and getting up thinking, "I'm alive."
This was the night after my Dad died, so I'm guessing it was my brain reminding me of my own mortality, but I would be interested in your opinion nonetheless.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -

Dreams use our experiences to give us information about our subconcious minds and important information we may have missed during waking life and so will use a recent or familiar scenario to get a point across, it makes it more recognisable.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -

No problem I enjoyed doing it, use what the dream is telling you start to value yourself and others will see your value too, we all have a lot to offer but some are better at putting themselves out there than others.
if you really want to you can find the money to persue your passions, just be patient and accept it may take a while, even if it it takes 10 years saving the odd pound here and there you will be able to look back with pride and know you achieved your goals.
The dream isn't telling you your parents don't value you its telling you that that is what you subconsciously believe, I bet they value you a lot more than you think.
Same with your work colleagues, it's your lack of self confidence that makes you think that.
The next time you are at work think what would charlize theron do and imagine you are her for the day, what have you got to lose?I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0
