Hi carrying something heavy in dreams are indicative of responsibilities, workloads and burdens and how heavy they lay on our shoulders.
when we cannot find the right route it is a sign that we don't feel like we are progressing towards our end goals, being as you are in a car I would think this is work related, perhaps you feel the burden of your responsibilites or workload is preventing you from progressing as you would like.

Thank you, that does make a lot of sense. I wouldn't like to say burden, but the responsibilities are a disabled 21 year old son, a rapidly failing father at the other end of the country and a very poorly sister who lives near my father. Trying to support them (mainly my son) has meant that I have pretty much retired (self-employed) but this is leaving me feeling unfulfilled.

    Hi

I have several recurring "themes" although the dreams can differ

One is seeing a helicopter crash, I have had this regularly for years
One is being in a lift that suddenly drops
One is flying somewhere - but by plane, rather than me flying solo. Mostly I don't make it out of the airport in those dreams

    Any clues? Are they linked?
I wanna be in the room where it happens

    Hi Pukkamum,

I had another dream about flying last night. Row E, Seat 67.

I thought one of stewardesses was flirting with me, but it turns out she was just being friendly with everyone. Probably a bit to tall for me, she looked 5 11. I'm only 5 9.

    What does this mean?
  • I had an awful dream last night. I dreamt that I had some awful deadly disease that I was slowly dying from, seemed to gradually wasting away. I remember feeling sad that I wouldn't see my family again and that I didn't want it to happen.

    Not very nice.

I had one last night that was a bit odd.

I was going with one of my oldest friends to see a play, and I was going on a bus into town to meet him (so far so good) But it turned out the play was an open air thing and there were only a few people there as it was about friends family  there was a display stand nearby with tablets and mobile phones on it like you might see in a shop, but it was all covered in my washing  so I ended up not watching the play and folding up all the washing and being embarrassed that it was there and clearing it all up... it was all on top of the phones and everything :o

    I think I need help :o

  • I had a dream last night that I found a big black bird or crow in a cage, and I set the bird free and it flew away. Woke up afterwards thinking about it for some reason, its a very short dream!

I used to have a dream where I couldn't move and was pinned to the floor, above me was a large black dragonfly trying to land on me. It never did manage to land on me as I wouldn't let it. Do these mean anything other than I have a strange imagination?

Hi all these dreams are linked, the helicopter crash is representative of a plan or project, maybe some new start that you are thinking about, the size of the aircraft represents the size of said plan or project, new start and it crashing indicates fears of how it will work out, it's not necessarily something you are directly involved in though.
The lift is about career or work progression, the lift suddenely is a fear that your career or some aspect of work is going to end or feels as though it is going backwards or falling through altogether perhaps career not progressing as you wish.
The plane that doesn't leave the airport is a plan or project not getting off the ground properly.

Dreaming of dying of a disease can mean there is some situation in life that is affecting your emotional health and you can't see a way through it, dying can also mean a transitional phase of life, perhaps the situation is changing or you fear it will change some aspect of your waking life.

Hi delain when we are on a bus we are thinking about our ambitions and drive in life.
The amphitheatre is representing wisdom and knowledge, as the play is about friends and family i would suggest it is about drawing on their knowledge and wisdom to help you acheive your ambitions, mobile phones and new technology indicate new information you need to take on board and or have been given or you will be revealing to friends and family however the washing, which represents your attitudes and or feelings, embarasses you, perhaps you worry how friends and family will react to this new information about yourself, perhaps your own attitude and feelings are stopping you from taking the new info on board or you don't want others to know your real attitude or feelings towards something.
I know all that sounds a bit vague but there is a lot of imagery thag can be interpreted differently, only you know how and if it relates to something in waking life.
    feedback very welcome here x

Hi being on a train is representative of your career path or working life, losing valuables is indicative of not feeling valued are you feeling undervalued at work and as if no one is noticing and or caring?

How interesting . I've actually just handed in my notice due to not having suitable working hours to fit in with my small son. I've started retraining in Computing and I'm the only woman in a class full of boys who are a lot younger than me. There's a lot of work and my mum seems to resent me for doing my work at home instead of at college, even though I've explained it's a full time course load taught over only two days a week so it would be impossible to get all my work done in two days. Dreaming about my career path does make sense.
Have I helped? Feel free to click the 'Thanks' button. I like to feel useful (and smug). ;)
