    Hi Pukkamum,

Last night I dreamt I was at Karaoke with all my family and friends. I was singing a medley of songs about dreaming/dream related (Fleetwood Mac - Dreams, The Bangles - Eternal Flame, Max Romeo - Wet Dream). Everyone said that I had a cracking voice like Michael Buble, but in real life I can't sing for toffee.

What does this mean? Should I take up singing lessons? Will chicks dig me more if I can belt out tune or 2?

Ok bazey suspect I am being wound up but here goes, when you sing in a dream you are expressing your inner feelings, your real self and therefore more of your creative potential.
This may give a feeling of great satisfaction because you are being more yourself and its clearly a part of you that friends and family like.
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.

I have had the same (ish) dream a couple of times a week for the past 3 or 4 weeks.

It goes something along the lines of:

I have found out I am single and pregnant.

I am at an open day in a newly built comprehensive school that I "know" is in Australia but everyone looking around british. I am discussing having a baby with a female friend and we agree we can raise it together as she cant have kids,we plan this to the last detail. The next thing I remember is we are in a cafe over looking Sydney harbour drinking maritni cocktails to celebrate our agreement (I am smoking and drinking while pregnant - shame on me!!)

A man who I know to be the father (not someone from real life at all) comes over and starts talking to me in Spanish (I think? I cant speak Spanish) yet in my dream I can sort of understand him, we have an argument, the heat starts to get to me and I actually wake up sweating!

It varies, sometimes Danni Minouge is the friend I am going to live with lol.

Hi when we dream about being pregnant it can indicate that there is a new direction, goal or project that isn't yet completed happening in our life, it's still in development.
Being in a school indicates gowing independance or perhaps the drawing on of lessons learned there whether it be life lessons, academic lessons or creative.
when you are talking to your friend you are actually talking to yourself, yes slightly bizarre I know but true, the conversation indicates that in your head you know exactly how to bring this change or project to fruition but by drinking and smoking whilst pregnant suggests you are spending a lot of time thinking about it and this feels unhealthy and almost makes you wants to escape.
The argument is an expression of frustration and annoyance, the man speaking spanish suggests you aren't expressing yourself fluently enough to others, perhaps with regards to the new project or new side of yourself.
I think your subconcious is telling you that you can express yourself fluently as you did with the dream friend but you need to do so in waking life too.
The danni minogue bit represents a quality, one you would usually attribute to her, that you are recognising or need to adopt in yourself to reach your goal.
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.

I forgot to mention I was naked in the dream, everyone around me was in a state or arousal, even my nan who was dancing with Ted Danson dressed in a Bungle costume. What does this mean?

It means it's time to get out of that paper bag now Bazey, reveal yourself, stop living in a bag as Ken Clarke might say.

Pukkamum i know you are very busy with lots of requests but if you get time could you please tell me what you think of this dream i had last night? Sorry if it upsets anyone,it did me which is why i am asking.

I was on my way to put flowers on my dad's grave, the church was not in it's usual place but a place i do recognise, doesn't mean anything to me though,it's a pub i have never been in and am not fussed about,in my dream it was not a pub but a church with graveyard.

I got out of the car with the flowers and a car came screetching to a halt in front of me,then two men came towards it each carrying/dragging a dead body, one was closer to me than the other and he looked at me and said 'I would like to think you didn't see anything',i looked down at the body and it was a man whose face was yellow with bruises,i did not know him or the other dead man whose face i did not see.

I was scared and shaking and mumbled something about not saying anything, then the man laughed and said 'But i think you have something on your jacket' it was some kind of fluid from the dead man's body, the smell was awful and i started crying harder and he said 'I know of a good cleaner,i will take you there',i was just refusing when i woke up.

I am so sorry if this has caused any upset to anyone but i am still shaken by this hours later,i can't believe i could dream something so awful :(

Hi dogs in our dreams represent intuition, loyalty, generosity and protection, as this was your daughters dog I would suggest this dream is about your feelings for her, the dog lying on your legs and you waking with dead legs would suggest you are maybe suffering from sleep paralysis, this happens when you wake suddenly from a dream but your body is still slightly paralysed, something that happens naturally during sleep, it often occurs when you are very tired.
but it may be worth seeing your doc about the dead leg feeling, as dogs represent intuition it may be your subconcious telling you about a problem with your leg.
I can understand how upsetting the dream about your son was.
, fire represents a change that can alter dependancies and viewpoints, the death of a relative represents a shift in a relationship beit good or bad so I would suspect that perhaps your son has become less dependant on you or perhaps his viewpoints have changed somewhat and this has altered your relationship in someway or you worry it will.
    Thank you pukkamum very interesting.

Wow that is spookily accurate on pretty much all points.

I am trying (and failing) to both relocate and find a new job / profession but I really am a bit scared to take the final step. I am also complating some further education to make the changes I need to move etc. but I can't pinpoint what I actually want to do and therefore spend a lot of time thinking about and not actually doing anything, then getting depressed about nothing actually changing.

I dont tend to be able to get my point across very well, I either get upset that people dont "get" what I am saying or get frustrated and annoyed.

Danni Minouge - she is my girl crush I want her hair (not sure about anything else though lol)

Thank you very much  I always thought this dream stuff was guff, but it seems not!
