    Hello Missus :hello:

    Let's start simple. :p

See that funny looking thing in the kitchen with knobs on and circle things at the top and a thing that's like a cupboard but it gets hot sometimes? That is your hob and your oven. :D:p:D;)

Cut up some chicken and marinade it in whatever you like really. Shop bought is easy but you can make a bbq sauce type marinade by boiling ketchup, honey and soy sauce, then marinade, then bake the chicken pieces (threaded onto skewers)

Rice salad.... Cooked rice with a mayo, walnuts, chopped apple and raisins.

Potato salad.... Chopped new pots, mayo, a little soured cream and chopped chives.

    Green salad.... Easy peasy.

    French stick.... Buy one.

Enjoy your trip to see Showadawaddy. :rotfl:

Tomorrow I want to surprise my 'better' half with a picnic (after our walk, in the car!) I'm working on a budget at the moment so I need ideas for around £5 for us both. My head feels full of wool and I can't come up with a thing, I'm normally pretty OS but not today it seems!

The only thing it has be is healthy and can be stashed away over night. £5 is just for the cost of food as I'll be taking a flask of tea with us and a water bottle.

    Help, Please!!
