Hello Missus :hello:
Let's start simple.
See that funny looking thing in the kitchen with knobs on and circle things at the top and a thing that's like a cupboard but it gets hot sometimes? That is your hob and your oven.
Cut up some chicken and marinade it in whatever you like really. Shop bought is easy but you can make a bbq sauce type marinade by boiling ketchup, honey and soy sauce, then marinade, then bake the chicken pieces (threaded onto skewers)
Rice salad.... Cooked rice with a mayo, walnuts, chopped apple and raisins.
Potato salad.... Chopped new pots, mayo, a little soured cream and chopped chives.
Green salad.... Easy peasy.
French stick.... Buy one.

Tomorrow I want to surprise my 'better' half with a picnic (after our walk, in the car!) I'm working on a budget at the moment so I need ideas for around £5 for us both. My head feels full of wool and I can't come up with a thing, I'm normally pretty OS but not today it seems!
The only thing it has be is healthy and can be stashed away over night. £5 is just for the cost of food as I'll be taking a flask of tea with us and a water bottle.
Help, Please!!0
