How did you meet your OH?

A mixture of in a pub and through a mutual friend. I was there with another friend, he was there with said mutual friend and the 2 of us ended up breaking from the group and talking in by ourselves.
Never though I'd see him again, and I wasn't really looking to meet anyone. However, I wake up to a message on facebook from him the next day so we swapped numbers before I left for work and spent the rest of the day texting.
Been together just over 5 years now and we're getting married next year!

On Love@lycos. Had just come out of a horrendous relationship with someone else from there (found out he'd got 5 women on the go, thankfully found out sooner rather than later), then out of nowhere appeared my now OH, we started talking as friends, wasn't really looking to get into anything new, especially as he was in Liverpool and I was in Buckinghamshire. But 2 weeks later he travelled down to meet me, he stayed for the weekend, on the Sunday I made the crazy decision to ask him to move in with me. So on the Monday I drove up to Liverpool, picked him and all his stuff up and never looked back!0

We met through a mutual friend, the first time we met we didn't really get along, I remember telling the mutual friend that I thought he was stuck up and he had told them that he thought I was "odd" lol!
Our second meeting, we ended up talking and things just went from there

Online (a forum, not a dating site!). We'd chatted a bit but I actually spoke more to some other people on there who also know him. We both ended up going to a meet-up in a pub, which is when we met for the first time, then things began developing and we got together a few weeks after that.0

At a classic car meet. Yes, really and no, before you ask I'm not gay. :rotfl:
My wife had a classic BMW and I had an old '60's Triumph (which I've still got), we were the youngest there and got chatting about cars, as you do. Anyhow, we get to the end of the evening and she challenges me to a bit of a drag race, condition being if she wins, I buy her dinner. Well, she won (surprise, surprise nigh on 200bhp 'v' 100) and the rest, they say, is history.
Sounds quite romantic looking back. :rotfl:2018 totals:

Umm.... blind date by my best friend

I had come out of bad relationship and my best friend told me her BF's brother would be 'perfect'... I said no way hosey, no blind date for me!
She approached him and he had said the same, swearing off women for good!
Well... a few weeks later it was ber birthday and when i arrived i knew everybody at the table... apart from one guy... who got the look on his face that he knew everybody around the table except me.... Needless to say my best friend sat there with a huge grin on her face looking guilty as sin!
We have no been together for fice and a half years and are getting married next year!
