At the appointment I will need to provide bank statements for the accounts I plan to fund from. Fair enough, but I'm reluctant to do so for various reasons. appointment.
I also had to produce bank statements at the appointment in order for them to open an account. Didnt bother me at all as they accepted online printouts.0 -
Just had a quick look thru the thread but can't find the answer.
Does anyone know the exact date when the 4% ends? I know it ends in March 2015 but is it March 1st or 31st?
Thanks in advance.0 -

Thanks for the replies.
Was going to close it when the 4% ends but the MasterCard is very useful for the occasional Amazon/Mastercard £5 discounts.
Managed to get at least £60 worth of Amazon/Mastercard discounts last month and all of my other Debit cards are VISA unfortunately.0 -
Before you close this it might be worth remembering that the interest rate reverts to 2% at the end of March. i.e. not zero.0

Will be interesting to see what happens when Clydesdale Bank/YB is sold off by its current Australian owners (NAB).

Interesting to see what the future holds for YB/CB - probably not bad, but who knows. Existing customers don't have to worry, as long as they don't have committed more than £85K.0 -
The 4% rate is due to cut to 2% at the end of this month. Has anyone received any confirmation/notice?
If the rate is due to be cut, i will transfer out.0
