Hi,
Did you phone them and request the internet banking details? As far as I know you need to do that. It's been almost two weeks since i have requested mine and they haven't showed up yet. Having said that you can still pay into the account using the account number and sort code shown on the debit card.
Cheers.

Yes I did ring them Saturday 30th, the internet banking letter arrived yesterday, Saturday 7th. Account now has £3,000 in it and I have requested the security token."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

The initial setup does indeed exercise your patience. Unduly so but hey-hoh. You don't get anything for nothing. With a lot of patience, you will eventually get a fully functional account with them. If you run out to patience, you probably won't.
Subsequently, in my experience, everything is as fast as with any other bank, provided you have their security token and enough money to service your request.

Bit late to the party, but just applied by phone to the Yorkshire Bank on the 0800 number. From start to finish took 24 minutes and I didn't get asked about why I wanted the account or to provide any details of current bank details. No request from them to switch banks either.
So far, so good. Now I'll just settle in for the long wait.0 -

I wouldn't hold your breath, I applied by phone over two weeks ago and I'm still waiting for the first initial paperwork to come through.0 -
Also if they cant verify your address, you have to go into the branch with proof of ID & income.0

Update:
Well last week I had enough as it was getting ridiculous, so phoned them up to enquire and guess what they couldn't find my application even though I had spent 25 minutes applying for it over the phone.
They then called me back after spending about an hour trying to trace where it had gone and luckily they found it, apparently they put it onto the wrong system. They apologized and sent the forms by registered post which I got the next day.
For those that are still waiting I strongly suggest phoning them up again.0
