freezer movements
Out:- 2 small pks of cooked mince - tea, 3 bread rolls for lunch with soup,
6 pieces of coffee fudge cake - lunch.
Not sure what to do with the mince as they are only small pks, think I may stretch it with potatoes, carrots, leeks and possibly peas and stick a suet pastry top on it. Feeling like comfort food today as the weather is terrible. I have some pears that need using up so I shall do the pudding from those and add in the bits of cooked apple in the fridge from yesterday.
Hopefully tea shouldn't take long to do as I need to get on with some admin.0 -

Back to clearing freezer, just want to use it all up asap and defrost.
Just had butternut squash soup - made autumn before last I think, tasted fine once defrosted/reheated - topped it with grilled sweetcorn, the last bit left in the freezer. Had it with toasted sourdough from WF. Quite a filling meal.
Took out the last mushroom/chestnut/puy lentil/kale pie to defrost for dinner tonight, plus a portion of the frozen roast allotment root veg and will cook the last jacket potato left from the veg box the other week.
Not much left in the frezer now dinner wise, will aim to use most of this during Feb, along with rice/pulses etc from cupboard & weekly fresh veg deliveries. Most is frozen in portions:
3 x nut cutlets (bought)
6 x HM HG butternut soup
2 x HM HG veg curry
7 x HG fried courgette
6 x HG roast root veg
30 ish x HG green beans
3 x bags of HG borlotti
1-2 x peas (bought)
3 x HG chilli/peppers
Plus lots of portions of HG fruit sauces, few pots of citrus juices, icing left from baking, HM crumble mix & pack of butter0 -
