Out: one HM venison 'cottage pie' which I made a couple of weeks ago. 2 x steamed puddings also made a couple of weeks ago.

I was so glad I had some 'ready meals' tucked away in the freezer for a day like today.
Silly me... I was helping DH yesterday doing some fencing as well as moving loads of logs he had chain sawed a couple of days ago. The effort gave me a bad shoulder - old injury - plus I suffer with carpel tunnel so the repetitive action of picking up and throwing the logs into the front of the tractor made my wrists swell and my fingers go dead. I hardly slept last night, I got up at 3am because of the pain. I spent all morning doing my jobs with the animals which took longer than usual so this afternoon I tried to catch up on sleep - so no time to make tea. Here's hoping for a better night tonight.

Got a Too Good To Go bag yesterday so quite a lot went into the freezer including:

2 loaves of bread; 2 packets of cheese squares (plastic cheese as we call it in our family) packed in 2s so we can have with burgers; 2 packs of sliced chicken; 2 packs of chicken breast pieces.

    Into the fridge went:

a pot of yoghurt with granola; a pack of 4 Magic Puddings (whatever they are); a pack of the chicken breast pieces

I'm sure there was more but can't remember what else!

It was a good bag for £4!

Out:  box of lamb shanks for dinner tonight; 2 burgers and buns for lunch today

Hope you're feeling better today @zafiro1984.

    Edited to add:

Just remembered a few of the other things we got:

hot food:  spicy pork skewer; small spicy pasty; small pizza thing (looked a bit like a Danish pastry!)

    Other fridge stuff:

egg mayo sandwich; bag of orange smartie eggs; strawberries; single cream; grapes

It was from the local Costcutter store.  I think they must over-order because I checked today and they had another 3 Magic Bags available to collect tonight!

My freezers are pretty full and I'm supposed to be running them down as we're off on holiday soon and would like to at least empty the outside freezer before we go!

Gosh and I thought I was doing well when I came across a 1.50p Lidl box but your box puts mine to shame. We don't have Costcutter here :(

Carinjo, Love the look of your pickles, I haven't done any this year - I forgot.....

Had a better day today which was good because DH could hardly move so I had both his and my jobs to do. Our usual 'Posh Sunday Dinner' which we started during the pandemic is not going to happen, I'm afraid it's hot lamb sandwiches and salad tonight - just waiting for the lamb to crisp up.

DH back working, I didn't realise just how tired I'd become doing 2 people's jobs, so slept for a couple of hours after lunch.

Yesterday in:- 3 cooked pks of steak and kidney stretched with a few mushrooms and veg.

Today:- out 2 pks venison mince, but I'm going to get 4 sausages out for tea and leave the mince until tomorrow
