IN this week three bags of frozen South African hake fillets, three bags of wild Alaskan salmon (offers).
OUT last of husband's gluten-free pies and frozen jacket spuds, some of a bag of frozen fenugreek (methi) plus last of potato waffles.
Bottom drawer is now empty except for a haggis.
IN Saturday 5 x 250g Kerrymaid lard as Iceland is doing 5 for price of 41 -
In later today: batch poached chicken breasts and hm cooked ham.

In:- lemon cheese cake, salmon and asparagus flan.
Out:- turkey wing, I know it sounds a small useless item but the original bird weighed in at 42lb (19.9kg) so there's enough meat on it for a couple of days - needs slow cooking. Some frozen fruit to put with a jelly. cake batter to turn into muffins
I've decided to go on a well overdue diet, starting today, so DH will be eating pastry, cakes, pies out of the freezer, not me1 -
I got up feeling both peckish and lazy this morning and after a bit of looking around various recipe sites decided on this loaf Quick Carrot And Walnut Bread Recipe - olivemagazine as I had all the ingredients and I'm trying very hard to run my stocks down a bit. It came out very nicely so that's Out:-flour, bicarb, carrots, yoghurt, walnuts, milk and salt.2

Out: goat curry for dinner tomorrow night
Tomorrow I will be using some of the ham stock from cooking dinner tonight to make some lentil soup which will end up. in the freezer. I've no doubt there will also be some of the ham left to be frozen after taking account of some to have cold on Tuesday evening.

Out: the salmon bits, not to be used for stock. I have however learned about using the ham liquid @joedenise and made a lentil soup for the freezer. The last week or so the recipes were even more inspiring than usual.
