Freezer groaned as a friend came with 2 huge carrier bags full of rhubarb, enough for the year. She left weighted down with 3 trays of eggs.
2 hours later all rhubarb in freezer, I just need to find some different recipes to do it justice.
Out:- 2 x breaded chicken for tea.

In:- 11 x coffee and walnut cake batter, each one has enough batter to make a small traybake or 8 cup cakes. I have over 90 eggs to deal with so frozen cake batter is quick and easy to do. No need to buy biscuits for quite a while :). 16 eggs used so It's treacle and ginger batter next, hopefully later today.
Out:- small rolled venison haunch. Now in the slow cooker will use it cold over the next couple of days.

This morning out: 2x salmon fillets for lunch.
Last night in: found some y.s. sausagemeat, got 3 and ready rolled pastry. Ms C asked me to teach her how to make sausage rolls, will do that next weekend.

It's good for the soul to walk with your soles on the soil.
