    In; 2 x apple crumble
Out: over the last couple of days, salmon tail, sausages, bacon, bread, pate.
Any idea what to do with a gift of a couple of goose eggs, apart from omelettes etc, I'd rather put them under a broody hen but no hens are obliging at the moment.

I'm voting for giant scotch eggs!
I hit the jackpot on my Easter shop this morning! Decided on the "upscaling" since my local M0rrisons got a good reputation.
2 whole salmon from the fresh fish counter, topped and tailed (£5.99/kg) to be portioned.
    1 leg of lamb (£5.99kg)
    1 lamb joint (£5.99/kg)
    1 beef roasting joint (£5.99/kg)
1 whole lamb shoulder from the butcher's counter which he portioned for me to use in the slow cooker (£7.00/kg).
And as a treat, fresh octopus for tonight, already prepped by the fishmonger.
Also, tin fruit cocktail, blended for ice lollies.

I never thought of that, what a good idea. My mum-in-law used to make egg custard with geese eggs using half cream/half milk, I may even try that.
In: half a mutton, the other half plus lamb is still on its way!!

@zafiro1984 i take my hat off to you for working, what was it, 32kg worth of fish? I almost destroyed the first whole salmon trying to take back bone out! Watched some tutorials online, having another go this morning.  :#

Edit: 2nd salmon went a lot easier. Ended up with about 5kg of fillets for £30. Next time will ask for the heads to be added to bag for the fish stock planning to make. Definately a skill i will keep practising.
