OUT:  leek and barley soup (change of plan for lunch as decided we need something warming rather than just a sandwich!)

Hi, Do you have the recipe for leek and barley soup as I've loads of  HG leeks in the freezer and it's the sort of soup DH would enjoy.

    Out 1 x sirloin steak.

I am trying so hard not to shop before the middle of next month. I don't know if I can make it as I'm running very short of butter and milk but I'll try.

It's a Slimming World recipe from www.slimmingeats.com website.  She's an English woman living in Canada but writes a SW blog.  She's got some great recipes which I use a lot.  We find it a lot more filling than the usual leek and potato soup.

Out:  bag of ratatouille to turn into a veggie bolognaise sauce with some green lentils added to it for dinner tonight.

    Edited to add:

Out:  box of ricotta and spinach cannelloni for lunch tomorrow and some chorizo to go with some of the LO chicken to make Spanish chicken (like a risotto) for dinner tomorrow night.
