@zafiro1984 so happy to hear you feeling better again. And home smoked salmon @joedenise? That sounds yum.
Out yesterday: 2 gammon steaks and ingredients for flavouring roasted savoy cabbage wedges. Today, block tofu (draining at moment), soba noodles, miso for lunch. Dinner is stuffed peppers using leftovers.

IN:  4 meal/sandwich sized portions of home smoked salmon
    OUT:  Nothing

Do you have a smoker? what wood chippings do you use? I'd forgotten that we have one but it's been put in the workshop as I haven't used it for about five years. I feel inspired this year and when the weather is better get DH to service it.
(I've had 4-5yrs of getting over several ops, and then the pandemic!!, but this year I feel as if my life is back and I'm quite enthusiastic about things)
DH bought a smoking kit from ProQ which is used on a BBQ with lid (we have a charcoal Weber in the garden) he smoked the salmon on that.

    Went shopping this morning so

IN:  2 bags of frozen breakfast topper; 2 x 2portions leek and barley soup LO from lunch today
OUT:  sausages for breakfast tomorrow; burgers for lunch

    In;- 3 x sausage plaits
Out:- Some turkey bits for soup
I'm starting to make an inroad into a freezer disaster. I have a load of packets of batter which were for Yorkshire puddings. I made and froze them last summer when I had a surplus of eggs. However when cooked they do not rise, so they will be cooked - over several days/weeks and chopped into small pieces as a treat for the hens. I 'm also thinking of grating a bit of dried cheese over them as my hens absolutely love cheese.
    Could the batter make pancakes?
We often used to have tattie ash as children. That was just a mince and potato stew served on pancakes.
We sometimes have a variation on that theme for dinner nowadays.
I did a cookery course many years ago and we made a very fancy gallette dish. We made a number of pancakes, then layered them up with various fillings in a deep sided cake tin. Topped with cheese and baked and then served in wedges.

I'll give it a go although pancakes are not my most favourite food. I have two packets of batter cooking at the moment which I'll take out with me about 4pm when I give the hens their corn and check they are OK for the night. I do feel sorry for them at the moment as they have to stay inside all the time  - hen lockdown - I hope the gov will allow us to let them out soon.

I made bread rolls which are a big improvement on the last ones thanks @carinjo for cooking instructions! Think you saved them! So hopefully I can make a dent in the massive bag of flour I have and save money on buying bread for a while
