In to freezer - 2 tubs - HM TITH + tub - HM Apple Pie + tub of HM LO Balls.
Out of freezer - HM Fish Pie.
Had a bit of a cook up tonight - oven was heaving.
I made a TITH + Apple Pie + Left Over Balls. I have enough roast potatoes cooked for 2 day's meals.
There was some LO cooked rice in fridge - added that to 1/2 packet value made sage/onion stuffing mix. Also added LO egg after brushing top of Apple Pie + pepper/garlic granules + trimmings of a parsley plant - desperate for a hair cut. Will have some of the LO Balls for dinner tomorrow - let you know how they taste. The mix made 12 LO Balls.
Dinner was TITH + roast potatoes + cauli, carrot, onion + gravy.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Flo, those balls look lovely, please do update with how they taste:)
Breakfast today is Sausage and egg butties using up the defrosted sausages that were the last thing out of the freezer.
The defrost is all done and cleaned out. It is now cold again ready for my Christmas shop. I'll update later with how much went in£36/£240

^ Oh I'd like to be in that position for the New Year! (I don't do an xmas shop). Am trying to make myself use up the frozen veg stuff - even though it's HG I am not keen on frozen veg in general (apart from the roast beetroot which tastes ok) plus I want to batch cook some meals and I can't fit them in.
Yesterday I used up a HM HG veg and bean curry - with rice from the cupboard.
Today I'm using up a HM HG bean burger with HG fried whole chillis, roasted HG beetroot from the freezer and HG potatoes from the cupboard and some vegan mayo - so a mostly free dinner!
I did buy more pitta for lunch to have with the WF fresh cashew butter. Had a veg box delivery today too, first of the winter..0 -
No freezer movements.
No photo - had HM fish pie and baked beans.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

^ I miss it when you don't do pics, Flo!
Nothing out the freezer today, after 2 days of freezer meals I decided to do fresh tonight with a mushroom bolognaise recipe - using mushrooms/celery out of the veg box delivery. However, the onion, carrot, garlic, bay and thyme were HG. Already had the tinned toms but I did have to buy the tomato puree and balsamic this week - will try and make sure I use them in other recipes..
I only did half this amount but it's way more than 2 portions!

Had usual breakfast and lunch today.0 -
Made Linseed bread so some of that has gone in to freezer.
Out of freezer - HM apple pie.
Had a use up bits dinner.
We had LO balls + LO roast poatoes - crisped in oven + mashed swede/chopped up carrot & onion + LO naan bread.
The LO balls were okay - nothing to rave about.

I was impressed, really liked it! I don't know how it would compare if someone was more used to a meat one but for a veggie dish (or vegan even as I didn't add cheese) it was really tasty. Is def going on my regular recipe list.
Half the recipe amount made 3 large portions, I think I could have squeezed 4 portions as a third was very filling. It made a very full large frying pan full and I didn't even add the green salad bits.
Going to do this one next week:

I ventured in to the small freezer - searching for bits to use up. Got out - some bacon, 3 sage & onion stuffing balls and 2 bags of chicken. One lot of chicken is breaded.
We will have chicken for dinner tomorrow with roast potatoes and roasted veggies - red onion, white onion & tomatoes - all from stock.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
