Have stocktaked my little freezer today and made a start on the caravan storage. I have brought a basket of things in to use up for lunches and will place at eye level. Filling in Out of Milk as I go and also making a list of some things I need to devise a use for to go on the meal planning list.
I can see some lemon curd lurking at the back of my cupboard so I was thinking of making a lemon meringue pie, do I need to add anything to the lemon curd or just spread it on as is? Haven't made one for absolutely ages and never from a jar of lemon curd. Don't really want a runny mess if can help it. Also I will have egg yolks left over, what do people do with spare ones apart from share with the dog?0 -
Mix the egg yolks with a little milk, whip up and make scrambled egg.
