Yesterday, used up a previously made garlic bread portion which I combined with a cheese topping. Also, last of some reduced price "old" lettuce used up. Just one more garlic bread left now.

Today my online (food) grocery arrives. Selecting was a difficult task. Checked through present "stocks", in order to think of my next approach, to make progress in using up what I still have.

My (food) grocery order arrived complete. I do not think it will slow down using present "stocks". Yesterday, I finished the last recipe of my mini-challenge to use some selected items from a freezer drawer. I have now set aside more items to use up first which are a mixture of savoury and sweet.

FrugalWeirdo83 - Not sure I remember if anybody mentioned that recipe on this challenge?

Having hit a hard time as i lost my job i thank god that i am a hoarder, the last 10 days have been very tight and i have literally spent £12 on fruit and veg, feel so rich I have £40 left in my purse, finally have my child maintainance going into bank tomorrow, all direct debits have been paid, think I'm gonna treat the kids to a portion of chips to celebrate

Sorry to hear that, I'm a great believer in it always being wise to a food stash in case of the unexpected. Mine just needs reined in a bit. Hope you get another job soon.

Since last Wednesday, have been consistently using up the savoury and sweet items from those that I had selected as a priority. All the savoury have now gone. Weekend shopping was just 250gr "yellow sticker" mushrooms.
