My mini challenge is currently just two "old" freezer items to use up.

This weeks online (food) grocery shopping was more or less centered around a milk order and also preparing for winter. October 2017 food purchases were over budget although many of these will last many months.

    Hello lovelies,

Does anyone have any leftover Gammon ideas?

I've got about 600g of the stuff (trimmed and lean in two lumps).

Not in the mood for pasta and already had it as a roast. Not a fan of pie/pastry as I'm trying to lose some weight for christmas...

Need to feed 4 adults plus a couple portions for lunch wouldn't go amiss. Fully stocked pantry.
Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.

    Since 1/11/2017 -

Used up all the food items concerning my mini-challenge. Didn't purchase any weekend-shopping food and have been busy collecting any salad greens from the garden.

Next mini-challenge will be to use up freezer stored :-

    - small coconut flour bread (1)
    - savoury slices (3.5)
    - portions of sandwich fillers (2) and
    - a cracker-type recipe (3.5).
