Since my fruit and vegetables shopping, no extra spends. I have decluttered four recipe books. There are a few interesting recipes and "unusual" combinations e.g. tried the "stuffed tomatoes" recipe but not the combination of "onion and orange salad" (in a dressing) - yet!
My online food groceries is cancelled for next time as the person I share delivery costs with does not need anything. This means a bigger gap of no foods "coming in" by this method. Using up seems possible for this period so hope to make progress.0 -
Hope you're feeling better now Franalamadingdong.
I used up some beetroot I'd roasted a few days ago which needed to go; the roasted parsnip my son refused to eat for tea yesterday as apparently he now doesn't like it; some leftover pepper and tomatoes from our picnic lunch and a couple of fresh root veg from the fridge for a lovely spicy curry last night. Served with some hm naan bread from the freezer it was spot on.
I have leftover pasta for lunch today at work and just need to work out how to discourage hubby from ordering takeaway tonight as it's his turn to cook and he's had a very busy week so he will undoubtedly want to get some junk food. Wish me luck!0 -
Waiting with baited breath to see what's happened while I've been away. I'll have to do a complete audit tomorrow before I go shopping because I've no idea what DH will have used up.
Can't even meal plan until then which is very frustrating. I'm packed and ready to go. I want to start making lists, but I can't.:rotfl:Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
