Florenceem the fish pie looks fantastic !

cornishchick was that the President unsalted butter at Morrisons ? I bought six then went back and got another six as it saved 30p per brick. Not organic but OH's favourite butter. President does an organic version in France only which French Click sells over here for 2.99 for 250g
  • Missed that post well done Cornish chick.

Did you see Morrisons are starting Home delivery in the new year but selected areas first.

No it was anchor. Normally about 1.70 each so no huge saving but hubby's fave, and his die tian said he needs to add butter and high cal things like mayo to his meals... so we get through loads..
No movement in any direction today so good.. I think lol

Nothing is going well this week.

Thought everything was ok with new Computer, and I would be back in full swing. but no, the cards to do with my multi screens went all wrong and I do miss having more than one screen, ok call me greedy.

Then DH decided to be ill, V+ and D+, couldn't leave the house, just curled up in a chair saying how cold he felt which meant I had to do all the horses as well as my chickens. I'm still slow at moving and not quite up to dealing with the stallions, but had no choice in the matter. It took all day to do the basics but I survived and DH is feeling much better today so hopefully between us we can catch up with things.

    Freezer movements:-
    Nothing out:-
Freezer food plan was put on hold so will live out of fridge for a couple of days. I have just snacked - not good for the diet.
    Nothing in:-
  • Doing well this week with freezer and cupboard movements.

I'm very pleased to report that I have only 3 fresh (frozen) pasta bags plus one in the cupboard left to go. :j It was quite a battle at times but I'm so glad I persisted.

My freezer is about half full now. I plan to reduce the contents further before bulk-buying fresh fish from the fishmonger. I also plan not to buy any pasta for awhile.

    Recent movements:
Out: Ox cheek for stew, duck breast fillets and lamb chops
In: Nothing yet but will expect portions of ox cheek stew will go in.

Recently bought some bacon for the ox cheek stew.
