  • Unfortunately, I left 2kg of portioned mashed pots out of the freezer and it thawed. So as DH was away, I had mashed pots for breakfast, lunch and supper and it's all gone :rotfl:

With the mashed pots all gone there is more space in the freezer. Something I wanted to achieve but would have preferred to do it differently. :D

I've got a grocery order from Mr A coming tomorrow (essentials only) so my cupboards and fridge will be stocked but hopefully nothing to go into the freezer.

    Freezer movements:
    In - nothing
Out - Tuna pasta bake and rabbit stew for hubby lunches for the week. The mashed pots that were not planned and fish.

^ impressive potato eating, I admire your commitment!

Edwardia, you should suggest to A&C that they offer GF as a preference under the account settings - ie I can select vegetarian/vegan so I don't get emails/and I guess freebies etc that are meat related.

WP - did you get your mag/freeteabags too?! Impressive exercising at 6am too  to get to Waitrose.

I've not been eating much all weekend, just 'ate' a few milkshakes that I won and tonight I did stick a tart in. Nothing in or out of freezer. Small Ocado delivery at the weekend but as I spent £9 of the min £40 order on G&B chocolate and had to get some cleaning products there wasn't much left for food for the next two weeks :o I will therefore be using up some of the frozen veg bits I don't really fancy.

I will confess that I will not be eating mash for awhile.

I don't blame you.. if I ate 2kg of spuds I'd prolly be in hospital on an insulin drip. Impressive dedication to Waste Not Want Not tho.

    OUT freezer
Birds Eye vegetable fingers for OH

Hoping to convert huge swede, half a radicchio, leeks, carrots, peas, spring onions into veggie burgers for freezer at some point tomorrow.

Nadal v Djokovic tonight at the O2, Go Novak ! (Suspect Rafa will win tho).

Kirri I'm low carb he's gluten free which isn't necessarily low carb.. V8 veg juice was like cold liquid tomato ketchup with Tabasco. OH said it tasted like a Virgin Mary (Bloody Mary hold the vodka) but it would be OK with summer lunch in garden. Not as good as HM gazpacho tho.
