Will use up the last of the Christmas stilton on oatcakes at lunch time and some lingering grapes. A portion of tagliatelle and one of spinach will be used tonight. Apart from two packets of instant custard nothing should be added to stores/freezer though fresh stuff (milk and bread) topped up
EDIT:- bag of SR flour also addded to stores

I did cave a bit and buy a couple of items yesterday as the freezer seemed to be full of mince related food and I just fancied something I could chew!

    in:
2 pork chops - at least they were on offer.
2 small HM naans - I made too many yesterday using up excess yogurt!

    pot of pressure cooked chick-peas
    3 handfuls of broad beans

  • The freezers and cupboards are going down a lìttle but it would help if I kept the inventory up to date. So.....

    Out
    2 pork chops
    Bag pork cubes
    1 chicken breast

Pasta, passage, emptied smoked paprika pot, stuffing, gravy, tin pears

And various other things I can't remember. I know there are more, honest

I have checked the items that remain and come up with at least 32 main meals for the two of us so that takes us up to March

    Out tonight:

1 turkey chilli, 2 sausages and pre-made mash, 1sausage roll and a Chocolate Brownie.

Was very good today and put back the reduced sausage rolls at Lidl. DH doesn't need them but will always eat them if on offer. Only 90p saved, but nothing added to freezer:j

Out of the freezer this morning a bag of mash, a bag of passatta, a pack of mince, 4 small bags of white sauce, garlic butter and a slice of quiche.
Not planning to add anything but will have leftover neeps tonight. I'll decide tomorrow if using or freezing. Had planned to take out a bag of liver and bacon casserole for tomorrow as per meal plan but as I'm now having meaty haggis tonight will probably have something else instead I'll decide later

    OUT
    6 x HM mince pies
    1 portion HM tomato soup

    In
1 x lemon drizzle loaf and probably 2 x apricot and sultana loaf cakes which I shall make later this morning.

I've been trying hard to use up ingredients in my 'cake' cupboard. It has saved me oogles as I haven't bought any biscuits
