The march to financial freedom

Good news on the well behaved doggy. Must be amenable to being trained so it looks like it'll be money well spent.
I'm up over 100 on nectar for watching ads. Not very exciting mind you. I get 200 points per month for my meter readings and also all my petrol so it'll soon build up. I need to make sure I get my card scanned in Sainsburys or I will not be able to use it for spends. I only have £6.50 just now mind you5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Doggy is an intelligent springer so he's keen to please and learns quickly. He fetches slippers, the post, newspapers and is great both at home and off lead - just I need to let him know who is boss when he gets on a lead - that'll be me instead of him now
The other one, she's so docile that she can't be bothered to pull on the lead anyway :rotfl:
I've had 45 mins of training free already, so £30 for the 1 hour to come is a bargain and very well worth it. Trainer does his job really well, up to me now to keep up the Big Boss act with the dog.
Nectar points soon add up - woo, great for the meter readings too. I reckon you could get over £50 by November. Challenge is onBack on the DFW Wagon:

Not heard of that one INOD, but did a quick google and seems it was selected invites only and first 25,000 that applied by 11th April would have got in and heard back.
Looks like it would have been a good trial to be part of.Back on the DFW Wagon:

:rotfl: I tried to do a survey tonight - it threw me out
But that's where the most points are and I've been lax there.

Evening all!
Concerted effort made today to do a Nectar Canvass Survey and after being thrown out of 2, finally completed a 40 pointer. :j
The not so good news - more expense as DS has a school trip - £25, Mufti Day - £1, a bit came off the cooker door which I've done a DIY repair on and a bit of a tooth has broken off tonight (molar), so shall be making a dental appointment. Private patient too, so that's going to cost a small fortune I expect.I can see a dent being made in the emergency fund, but that's what it is for, it might just take a few months to back fill it as work probably won't take me over an average month until end of September/October.
Billable work today and tomorrow thank goodness - not the best of weeks on that front.
Financials then:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery (both) - checked
- Nectar Adpoints - up at 56 points
- Nectar Canvass - 40 pointer done
- Nectar Search - up at 20/100
- Nectar card value - still at £70.31
- Inbox Pounds - survey and little bits pushed it up to £6.24
- Qmee - 5p added today, £1.65 in the pot
- P!necone - points converted, £3 is in Paypal
The first day in ages that I've managed to get through all the little things.
Food shop done tonight and a spend of £14.47 in Ald! - they've in the midst of moving everything around and seem to have upped some prices again. Will have to start comparing with Sburys Basics range on more items I think, as it's quite possible now that SB is cheaper on a few more items. Roughly on track with the budget of £25 per week given last week's £35 spend.
It's been another sunny but breezy/cooler day and on checking the water butt, it's not filled from all that torrential rain yesterday evening, so I have added cleaning the connector from the downpipe out - it gets clogged up from time to time and stops the water diverting to the butt. Suspect that to be the case anyway.
Hope everyone has had a good day.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Late update tonight - day has flown by, work good and a NSD too. I've done a fair bit of housework tonight, as the heating engineer should be here @ 7.30am tomorrow to service the boiler and look at the little things that need repairs.
Batch curry made for dinner with spare for the freezer. I need to do a batch bolognese and cottage pies too - already have the mince for those.
Financials:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery (both) - checked
- Nectar adpoints - up at 67
- Nectar Canvass - no time to do anything there
- Nectar Search - up at 25/100
- Nectar card value - up at £70.50
- Inbox pounds - up at £6.43
- Qmee - another 5p, £1.70 in the pot
Tomorrow is a business catch up day, though tempted to get the grass and hedge cut first before the rain arrives as a wet weekend is forecast (again!). Better get the washing done and dried on the line as well- can see how work stuff slips when the weather dictates what I do!
