    Ooh, last quickie post :rotfl:

Just trying to work out the jump up of £1/200 points on my Nectar card - it's 'goodwill' points on the back of my email that I hadn't been credited for a purchase months ago. :j Well done Nectar!

Just one last set of 200 points outstanding now from an Xmas purchase! It's tracked since November and showing though, whereas the one above wasn't.

First Group, I've had 400 points out of a possible 1,200 for the registrations - not sure if those will come.

    Better go now!

Had a lovely day out with DB cooking on the BBQ and relaxing in the garden.

Since being home, have everything ready for DS for school tomorrow, one item photographed and listed on eBay, plus the carpet moved to the garage too.

Housework will have to wait, though it's not too bad throughout and most areas are reasonably tidy.

£520 goes off to the CC in the morning - sig update will be £3,754 and 54.16% paid off. :j

Some work stuff to prep for tonight and looking at emails briefly, looks like a good size billable day will drop into this month. Edging closer to my target for June there. :j

    List of To Do's tonight:
    - Order contact lens solution
    - Sign off authorisation for DS's publication
    - Cheque for DS's transport (£56 - in the budget)
    - Earn more pennies :D

    Thanks INOD.

Not sure how next steps go really. Mostly depends on my business - when it's good, I'll OP more, when it's not, I'll hold some back. I've just been really lucky with work this year so far, but summer has come early it seems and a reality check is taking place!

The sports car going didn't have a monthly cost attached to it, but I think for now, it's about attributing spare income to the CC and seeing how much of the sports car sale money can be built back up to what I sold it for by time the CC is paid off in it's 0% period. So my aim is to keep that current £5,346 EF to February I think and still OP the mortgage. It's getting the balance right.

Financial news today and it's good!

    - Mortgage Interest letter arrived - down £2.23 to £397.29 for June's payment.
    - DS's item we put on eBay last night sold at the BIN price of £80 this morning :T Cash on collection tonight and DS and I have agreed to share that. We've got another item to photograph and put up, all money from that one will go to him though.

    - bank account checked
    - freepostcodelottery (day) - checked
    - Nectar search - up to 53/100
    - Nectar Card - up to £66.94
    - Inbox Pounds - up at £17.81
    - Qmee - another 10p picked up

Will look at adpoints tonight and Zapping the books too :D

Contact lens solutions ordered and £30.10 spent. I've also spent £11.77 on a Netti - it's a natural way to try and sort my sinuses out (think teapot with saline in for nostrils :rotfl:), last resort as nothing else seems to work long term.

    Evening folks,

eBay buyer paid and picked up last night, so DS comes out better off as I'll have the fees to pay! Yet to get the other item up. I've put that money aside as need to get 2 more family birthday presents for this month and will put that towards it.

    Financials:
    - bank account checked
    - freepostcodelottery (both) - checked
    - Nectar adpoints - 29 available and done, plus an extra 100 for filling in Sburys Bank form (insurance renewal dates)
    - Nectar Canvass - not looked, due one for post-product test tomorrow though
    - Nectar Search - up to 60/100
    - Nectar Card - still at £66.94
    - Inbox Pounds - up at £18.31
    - Qmee - picked up 16p :j
    - P!necone - having a flurry of these lately, another one in and done tonight, that'll be £3 more for the pot :D

A bit more work dribbling in, so almost at an average month for income. Happy with that, plus am off for a few days this month with taking my Mum to a hospital appointment, son to a hospital appointment and the long weekend away at the end of the month.

Food shop done and £21.90 spent which included a Gammon joint. Will update total in sig shortly. Made a batch spag bol tonight with several portions to freeze.

Think that's all to report today. Hope everyone has had a good one. :)

  • I had to google that netti. I have awful nasal problems with hayfever and allergies so I will be awaiting results.

Well done on all the financial good stuff. Everything is just falling into place nicely for you now.

My friend was saying to me last night that she was going to travel a wee bit further for her shopping so she can try Aldi. This is due to me going on and on about it :D

I've tried everything for my sinuses MiT - even got referred to see a Consultant years ago who wanted to scrap the bone - genetics have given me very narrow passages. However, it apparently comes back worse, so I gave it a miss. This Netti thing seems to be recommended and with Olbas oil on pillow at night (plus head over steam bowl with it in) will hopefully give me a natural ongoing way to keep them clear. Anti-b's work but not for long.

Am happy with the financials - just need to keep work coming in and ticking over to make sure I don't go backwards during the summer. It's really great to have the garage freed up too for all this decluttering :D

Ald! is about 4 miles away from us - we've got L!dl, Sburys and Morries all within 1 mile, but the savings outweigh that extra bit of mileage, definitely worth it and I can do the round trip quicker than if I shopped in Sburys, just down to the smaller size of store. :D Hope your friend finds the same. :)

  • I was threatened with sinus scraping last time I went to docs. Needless to say I didn't go back
