Evening all
Glad I've got your votes to stay on the DFW board and love your analogy Broggers. A sword through a pile of CC statements is perfect
Lilt we're all traipsing along with our baggage, making progress in all sorts of ways. I'll try not to keel over :rotfl:
And thanks for the birthday wishes, had a voucher come in the post today, so maybe those sandals I promised myself last year I might actually buy this year :rotfl:
Health - saw a lovely GP this morning (think I've seen 5 of the 12 since August ). Got some BBs to take full-time which are both anti-migraine and PA symptom blockers, ears are clear, sinuses a bit urgh (with a recommendation to get some Sterimar over the counter) and I'll be back to see him just before we go on hols. No change to HRT, he feels it's not the issue (like the others).
Definitely the new tabs are keeping the physical symptoms at bay, but when they start of wear off everything comes on again. I'm not so sure this is a good thing, but at least will get me through work, holiday and hopefully to the point of a diagnosis from the London hospital.
Not long been home from Parents Eve - all good and confirms our thoughts for Options with an idea or two in the Science careers arena.
Got though a billable work day, another one tomorrow. Need to be on form as mega busy next week so here's hoping.
Early night calls - I want to go to bed before DS these days :rotfl: How times change!Back on the DFW Wagon:

A flying visit...to share how wonderful Daligas are..I think I'm in love with them :rotfl:
Which energy company answers the phone personally within 3 rings, has a system that is completely working, takes responsibility and tells me exactly what happens next and that I'm onto the new cheaper FIX12 and did I know much about it? Flipping awesome :T
My annual bill will now be calculated, emailed to me, DD changed if necessary and I'll receive all this within 7 days. Marvellous :T
Nice to be able to highly praise a company, especially in this sector. They maybe cheap and small, but they're friendly and efficient.
A very happy Friday allBack on the DFW Wagon:

Hi Ali. I'm not being very good at reading or posting at the moment, but the good news is that things are going well at Supersaver house.
Gr8 news about Daligas and the new fix. I think I took out my contract a bit after yours, however I have not submitted a reading since we started. I just didn't bother this time. Will do it when I start the new fix though.
Lovely to catch up and wishing you all the best.

Great to see you posting SS, but I appreciate you're also a very busy lady at the moment and so pleased to hear it's all going well. :T
Update from me today:
Checked my Noddle Credit Report and all good there still. Can't wait to read it in about 3 months time when the CC balance shows zero. Can never understand why companies rely on these reports as they're rarely up to date with balances/payments etc.
Paid myself expenses owed, so that's pushed savings total up in current account temporarily. Got a great rate on currency at 1.38 for our Euros, so they're on the way to me via a friend.
Delighted to say health has improved a bit today, so hopefully that will be an upwards trend.
Financials:
- bank account checked
- Freepostcodelottery checked
- Nectar - points been moved back by Hive/Nectar and value at £31.04
- Inbox Pounds - up at £8.08
- Got a P!necone quick 5 min of questions to complete, which is usually a precursor to a full length survey for £3.
Though I didn't get home until 7 tonight, we've had a big dinner, washing is on, bins emptied, towels changes and dishwasher emptied. I still haven't done the weekly shop, we've done well to manage this long, though I had to buy more milk this morning from the expensive local shop. I've also got to organise taking DS clothes shopping for the holiday, that'll cost me a C0sta coffee and with only 2 weekends left before we go, I'm going to have to get a move on
Think that's my lot for today. Got a fairly busy day tomorrow, so an early night calls.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Just catching up again!
So happy to hear of health issues at least being pushed down by the new tablets. I am not a lover of taking pills to mask symptoms but have now been happily doing it for 2 years for one issue (3 perspiration [No MSE.. just no... I said prescription!] antihistamines a day) and 18 months for the other (codeine/amitriptyline) and I have had 3 days off work in the last 12 months, down from... dozens in the preceding year. So I am all for it.
Lolz at the local shop... If all you got was milk I forgive you and salute your lack of a £20 supermarket shop just for milk
Lots of hugs xxx

Glad to hear you are a little better today and happy belated birthday from me also.
I dared to obtain a copy of my credit history the other week, not for the purposes of getting credit but just because I was interested to see just how bad it was and if there was anything on there that shouldn't be. It wasn't great but I'm somewhat relieved to know I will not be able to obtain any credit for a while to come. Never thought I'd be one to say "can't afford it, don't have it". :rotfl:2018 totals:

It's tea break time in the Ali household - I've been a busy bee already and have regained some energy, along with some shopping receipts  But also had a visual migraine and left body side pain and weakness...as the tab wore off a little while ago.
Alex - Thank you and what a difference MSE has made to your life. :T Eye opening what you learn on here and how it changes our thoughts.
Lilt - I prefer to get to the bottom of the problem too, but going on for so long and it impacting everything, it's time to cover up the symptoms and get my life back
I did only get milk yesterday, today was a different matter in Ald! though
I had the early night I needed, so was naturally awake and got up at 6am..great for taking the dogs to the field whilst still quiet and daylight with sunshine too :j
Planned my journey and:
- Did food shop in Ald! - big spend at £40.64£10 on meat, alot of fruit, some more vits and re-stocking various things.
- Collected flower basket at the nursery. They are fantastic and I know Mum will be thrilled with them (aka she can't moan :rotfl:)
- Sbugs to change prescription and get the Sterimar - £13.56
- Sbugs fuel (as 1p cheaper a litre than Morries oddly) - £29.72. Great to get a full tank for less than £30 stilland more Nectar points to add to the pot
Usual household stuff to continue with, though DB due shortly to collect said flowers and take to Mums.
Planning a total pamper myself afternoon - reflexologist appointment and then on returning, I need to colour my hair. Planning a relaxing bath and face mask and even bought cucumber so will steal a couple of slices for my eyes. Not so frugal that they'll end up in a salad afterwards :rotfl:
