How come the chemist wouldn't sell you Migraleve? I used to get Zolmitriptan on prescription and it was amazing. But the doc gave me 6 tablets at a time.. and told me not to come back for a year! Lol. Very strong. Maybe there is something similar out there now?

I hope you are feeling better... It isn't good :(

Meanwhile :j:j:j:j :T:T:T:T:T CONGRATULATIONS on being debt free!!!! - I had to lol at your reason. I got charged 71p interest a few months ago. I was really angry. Then I found an annual credit card statement from my in debt days... and I had been charged hundreds in the preceding 12 months  - I got less mad quite quickly.

I've never tried reflexology but it is supposed to be powerful stuff. Indian head massage is another... Try it all ;) and I hope it feels better soon!!

New diary.. Hmm.. If you think you've gotten all you can out of this one.. go for it :D xx

Better this eve thanks Lilt - motion definitely makes it all worse - particularly vision so having laid/sat and done all next year's work spreadsheets it's eased off. Starting to work it out a bit more with the cycles of symptoms.

I think I was too honest with the pharmacist - once I'd said I was seeing the GP on Thursday and under a Neuro, he wouldn't sell me any :( So just normal painkillers for now. Your ones sounded mega strong :D that's what I could do with :D

True about the interest, bit silly getting my knickers in a twist over 3p :rotfl:. Partly that, partly Skinny egging me on :D. Can't wait til Wednesday now :j:j

Indian Head Massage is a great idea, my beautician offers that too :)

Really busy work day tomorrow with client facing, so fingers crossed I will be ok. I'm squashing more and more into less time due to being unwell and the holiday - hope I can deliver it all!

Thanks Beanie and Skinny. I slept so well last night too, if it's not one thing, it's the other . I do feel better later on in the evening..that seems to be because I've sat still for ages though!

I've looked up a local accupuncturist and that's on my list to try out as well :rotfl: I'll work my way through them all eventually and see what happens :D Since I've not been paying out for the Osteopath there is technically £40 every 4 weeks that's budgeted and not being used..but it's been eaten up with goodness knows what else in recent months

There is another possibility that it could be a more serious side effect from the HRT I am on. I've mentioned it before to the GP but it was dismissed, though the leaflet clearly points out see GP immediately if the case. Maybe an idea to come off of it and see if it makes a difference. Trouble is I'll then have all the menopause problems too :rotfl:

Oh Skinny, it'll be a waffling week after Wednesday (what's new, I know ;)) as I churn out thoughts and plans for savings and mortgage OPs, trouble is I add more weight to one, then change it to another :rotfl: . Still, I'll start a new year of age without the debt and that's good enough for me :D

  • Don't take yourself off any meds without consulting a doctor first Ali. You have more tests booked and may distort the comparison.

Speak to the next set of docs about the HRT. They can at least rule it out by taking you off it while monitoring you and seeing what happens while the record the results. HRT can be pretty horrible (have been on that twice ) but I have to say the menopause symptoms were awful indeed and I preferred the HRT if I am honest.

Tell me about budgeted money disappearing :( mines going into a giant Kondo hole. :rotfl: xx

Good points, I'm at the GPs on Thursday so will go armed with the leaflet and have a chat :) Any excuse to use a highlighter pen :D

Don't think I can afford to Kondo for now :rotfl:

Yeah so much for decluttering and not needing any more stuff or space. At the minute I need an entire set of new towels, have just bought new tea towels, and I actually have nothing to wear apart from 2 sets of pyjamas and a few hoodies. Bloody Kondo.

Fingers crossed the Gp has an answer for you :) much hugs!! xxx
