Evening Diary
Mad busy day today. Re-organised various appointments and confirmed I'll be attending the scan this Thursday. Work day flew by and tonight I made a batch of spag bol, with 3 portions that have gone in the freezer. Did the chilli on Saturday which gave 4 spare portions so we're well stocked for our quick meals again.
Had a NSD just about as looking online at clothes for the holidays tonight. Apart from that, I think we have everything else we need and DS has agreed to come to town at the weekend with me to choose t-shirts, shorts, casual trousers, trainers and and ....

Lilt I didn't buy anything online last night and  to the amount you spent. Naked sounds brrrr :rotfl:
Hope Jelly is improving and nothing else comes along after
Another billable work day here, we've had pork steaks and a pile of veggies for dinner tonight. I'm ready to hit bed, so tired again. Another aura, another not feeling great day and that's being on the pills full time.
Having to organise for DS to get home on Thursday, typical just when I can't pick him up, the school decide to shut early for an evening event and he'll be off site and not back in time for the earlier transport run.

If you're feeling a bit bleurgh Ali then focus on your holiday with DS and savour thoughts of a little R&R to get you through (that's rest & relaxation not rock 'n roll
)
A lot of us are a little bleurgh at the moment....its the worn out season
Great news on the scanso take it easy, look after the two of you and think of nice things in store

Evening Diary and thanks Broggers - I've been visualising sunshine, blue skies, palm trees and snoozing on a sunbed with R&R on my iPad :rotfl: Followed by Easter Eggs when we get back from hols
Another billable work day today with tomorrow off for the scan and a billable day Friday - a very good week and makes up for the days 'off' in the past couple of weeks, so the month is looking pretty healthy considering and am thankful for that.
Postman (or Springer) brought a copy of the Consultant to GP letter - one of the blood tests for MCV is a bit high and he's asked for thyroid and B12 tests to be done. These were normal not many months ago so will be interesting to see the results of this set.
I've had the heavy head and unbalanced feeling again today, but its an improvement on the previous few days. Eaten well again tonight with salmon and veggies, 4 pieces of fruit and *cough* a large slice of cherry and marzipan cake - tastes waaaayyy better than it sounds. Keeping up with 6-7 glasses of water too.
Sorted DS out for getting home tomorrow night. Just starting to catch up on the Budget news - savings tax abolished looks good and Help to Buy ISA will benefit my niece and her fiancee, so they'll be happy with that. Wonder if my Accountant's bill will go down with abolishing the tax returnI shall be onto that one pretty quick
No financial news to share, though I'm thinking of sending the April mortgage capital payment on Saturday 28th March and ringing the Spanish Bank from the airport. I'll have to keep a list of the unusual places I've phoned them from to tell them with March's one from the London Hospital
Edit - £1.49 from £co is ready to be paid and I've just earnt 11p on Qmee. Woop!

Evening Diary
Missed yesterday as was soo tired - 4 hrs travelling for 20 mins in the MRI scanner, but neck now done and next appointment is after the hols in April. Yet to chase GPs to get follow up blood tests done. Have made a dental appointment as got tooth/gum ache on same side and just want to rule in/out any problems there. This is turning into more of a medical diary than a money one :rotfl:
Spends yesterday were parking at £5.40 (parked 10 mins away from station and saved £2), train ticket at £47 and lunch in the hospital cafe at £3.
Came home to the new Council Tax bill - deep joy. Gone up 15.8% for the Police - there is a referendum on Election Day to vote for the increase or not. First county to do so, but still have to pay it upfront and get refunded if the vote goes to a No. So works out to £2 a month increase - up at £123 over 12 months  That's Band E with 25% discount
DS had a good school trip yesterday and got home safely about an hour before me.
Busy work day today and I've done the food shop tonight - spent £20.34 and didn't buy much as wanting to use foods up so we don't waste anything in the run up to going on holiday. Can't seem to get the food shop below £20 a week but then DS keeps adding things he wants to my list
Tomorrow I'll crack on with the housey jobs in the morning but am heading into the office for the afternoon - alot to catch up on. Am out for the evening at friends and looking forward to that, providing I feel well enough.
Sunday it's dragging DS into town for holiday clothes shopping and sorting the April birthdays - 3 fall within the week we get back from holiday so need to buy cards and sort money to go in 2 of them.
Financials then:
- bank account checked - I've upped the mortgage capital payment amount to £900 and it needs to go out on Tuesday 7th April. Have £1.49 in from £co.
- freepostcodelottery checked - there is an additional draw of some sort now too to check
- Nectar - still at £31.23
- Inbox Pounds - up a tad at £8.38
Everything is ticking over, I feel a bit better today but waiting for that day when I wake up with energy and not brain fog

Hello you
Glad you feel a bit better. MRI travel sounds like mine each time. Takes me £20 and 2 trains and 2 buses to get there, wait in an overflowing hospital and eventually get shoved into the only working machine. Still best to rule all of this stuff out flower. Mine showed up all manner of weird and wonderful problems!
You're so organised with birthdays! Am jealous. I don't even know half of mine. April is my entire households birthday month  so I best get sorting! (am aware that is just me and the tot but still!)
My council tax is up £2 a month too. 25% discount and only band B, £94 a month. Will hit me hard if/when Him moves back in, but we might move house to facilitate this so it could be even worse!
£20 a week is amazing. I can barely get under £50 a week!
Much love xxx
