Evening Diary,
Well that's the big family lunch done and dusted for another year. Had alot of help yesterday and today, as not long after I'd posted, I became very unwell and had the paramedic out - worsening of the same symptoms but also very dizzy and burning up. Rest and lots of water advised. Family and friends then arrived who set up the rooms and got everything ready so that I only had to switch the oven on this morning. Then all returned early today to help out, enjoy and get everything back to normal tonight.
I've to phone the GP first thing tomorrow to bring forward my appointment on the back of that.
Nothing really financial to report, I'm sure the meters will have been whizzing around like mad today with the oven on from 7.15 until 1.30pm and the heating and lights on all day.
I have a steady, rather than overly busy week at work to come, so am hoping I can still fulfil all my commitments there, plus DS and I have dental check up appointments for Thursday evening.
Off to polish off some of the dessert leftovers - difficult decision lemon cheesecake or profiterole and chocolate mousse gateaux? A bit of each perhapsBack on the DFW Wagon:

I hope you get well soon, Ali. Your GP does not sound the most reliable, here they offer a same day appointment or if busy they will accommodate a mutually agreeable time and date within a couple of days.
Enjoy your extra dessert.2018 totals:

Evening Diary,
Well it was back to work today and oddly I'm feeling quite a bit better. Could it have been stress from just the thought of all that I had to get done for the big do at the weekend? Still got the ongoing visual and off balance problem, but nowhere near like Saturday.
Phoned the GPs - engaged time after time. When I finally got through all the emergency appointments had gone for today  Will try again tomorrow at 8.30am.
So a good work day and am starting to book more into January - great news.
It was a No Spend Day too :j other than quite a few monthly bill DDs going out the current account.
Financials update:
- bank account checked - use and pay off monthly CC payment gone
- freepostcodelottery checked
- Nectar value - £24.02
- Nectar Search and Canvass - I may leave this month
- Inbox Pounds - £2.98
- Qmee - still 45p in the pot
- P!necone - think there's been a glitch with one of the surveys, so I might only get paid for 4 of them, waiting that one out to see what happens.
Not making any great effort to advance any of those until my Christmas break - health comes first and if I can deliver the work booked in up until I finish, then that'll be a good achievement considering.
Not much else to report, we're pretty much ready for Christmas, got 2 cards and 1 load of presents to deliver locally.
Off to eat some more leftover dessert - Mum's fabulous home made apple crumble. Here come the lbs on the waistline

Evening diary,
I saw my GP today :j:j . No ear or sinus infection or inflammation or wax (hopi candles done their job well there), but left inner ear is drawn in to the middle ear which is most likely causing the dizziness. To get that sorted, I've got a steriod nasal spray to open up the throat to ear tube and that will push it back out again hopefully.
She also prescribed a pill to alleviate vertigo/anxiety/stop panic attacks. Very small dose (5mg) to start with, increasing to full dose (10mg) this time next week in readiness for complete rest over my Christmas break and allowing it to take full effect.
She is going to chase up the scan result as well. A spend of £16.10 for the prescription, well worth it if they work. Whilst in Sbugs getting those, I picked up 3 lots of YS meat for the freezer and spent £13.30. We're well stocked for the next few months there I think.
Financials - All 3 P!necone surveys have paid out, so I've £9 coming to Paypal to go with the £6 from last week :T Once in, I'll send £20 to the CC as there's the £co and Qmee monies, totalling £17.50 which I'll round up.
Think that's all to report and another work day down to Christmas :jBack on the DFW Wagon:
