Thanks for your kind words and support, am going with the flow and a good 8 hrs sleep will help. No alarm needed for the morning with a work start of 10.30am. :D

I'm ready for the morning, but the early night hasn't happened! Grrr! This has become a bad habit this last week and I need to kick it into touch after tonight. If there's not enough hours to do stuff in the day, then things will have to wait a bit longer. Not going to get stressed.

So offski to bedski now! :)

    Evening all,

Productive work day and finally my weekend can begin, which mainly consists of resting up and chilling out. :D I did the business banking at 9am, spent £41.00 on fuel (got it spot on again, that's twice in a month!) and moved the P!necone £3 to Paypal.

    Other financials:
    - bank account checked
    - freepostcodelottery (both) - checked
    - Nectar adpoints - only 37 this week and nothing else to do
    - Canvass and Search I need to do some work on
    - Nectar card value - £78.39
    - Qmee - nothing today

DS has had his appointment come through for the physio, but I'll need to try to move it as it's slap bang in the middle of a client site day.

Used up the second YS peppered duck breast for dinner tonight - was delicious. Need to take a YS joint out of the freezer shortly so we're covered for meat in meals for the next 3 days.

Think that's all the news here. Can't even find my To Do list tonight, but don't think there's anything urgent on it.

Hope everyone has had a good day. :)

Apologies I haven't updated or been on here, things have taken a turn and I'm not too well. All my ailments that I've previously posted about - the odd vision, feeling weak/shakey, neck/shoulder tensions, head pressures, migraines - they've all culminated in panic attacks that started yesterday and have continued today.

Yes I've been overdoing things recently, but it's looking like it's a complete hormone imbalance brought on with the menopause and now the other hormones can't regulate themselves. According to the paramedic/ambulance team who attended to me at the roadside yesterday :o

GP appointment tomorrow afternoon and the earliest I can get for a full body, aromatherapy, hot stone massage is Thursday, so I've booked that. It will be £48 well spent I reckon if it eases any of my problems - particularly the inability to drive without an attack coming on (happened a few times today but I know what to do and how to try and minimise them now).

I've now finished client facing work until Wednesday 20th August, how I got through today I've no idea, but I did.

Tomorrow I am not doing any work or housework. It'll consist of a relaxed pace walk with the dogs, general chilling out and eating well. DB is doing all the running around for Mum.

Hope everyone has had a good day. :)

  • Sorry to be harsh but you're no use to anyone if you aren't well yourself. I know how difficult it can be when others are reliant upon you but you need to say no from time to time. Make sure your gp understands just how debilitating this is when you see them and do your best to take care of you. Hugs.

I feel completely normal and well until an attack comes on - don't feel mentally stressed at all, it's all physical issues which is even odder. But guess the last couple of stressful weeks have set it off.

Slept well with the heat pad which has helped shoulders, but within 30 mins of getting up the underlying trembling set in and seems here to stay again. I can't regulate my body temperature either - it's hot and cold at the same time. Producing too much adrenaline I guess.

Breakfast was a plum, apple and toast. I've walked to the corner shop for milk and spent £2.60. Will head to the hospital next to get my bloods done. Lunch will be chicken, cous cous and veg - all the right foods to prolong what little oestrogen I get from the HRT.

It is debilitating for sure, though carrying on as normal doing odd bits of tidying up etc as using up energy is probably better than not. :)
