B12 was ticked on the form Ig. Blood tests done - was in and out in 10 mins as no queue, though cost £3.50 for parking . Only a mile away, but I needed to try driving and was fine.
GP's visit this afternoon wasn't particularly fruitful - the best GP has retired, leaving one I can't understand what he saysand a new locum who thought anti-anxiety pills are the answer and dismissed the paramedics report . Suffice to say I've come away with a prescription that I've no intention of changing. I've bought some Kalms (4.89 spent) instead as recommended by a friend and I've also got registration forms for another surgery - have been thinking about moving surgery for a few years now, so this was a tipping point for me.
I've generally pottered today and everything has settled down quite well. A bit of a racing heart driving but nothing else. Emptied the dishwasher, ironed the few bits from last week's washing and generally tidied.
Just about to make a batch of chilli, so we'll have some of that for dinner, the rest will get portioned up and put in the freezer.
I've done some bits on the financials, will update on those later. DS is coming with me to do the food shop tonight and I suspect the £25 budget will get blown, as I'm upping the amount of fresh fruit I normally buy and consume and also forgot a few things last week.

Well it does seem it's chronic stress and having found a website that describes me to a T beginning to end, I'm doing all the right relaxation things and can't wait to hopefully get rid of the head, neck and shoulder tension tomorrow with the hot stone massage. Feeling alot better tonight and though I didn't drive far today, no below surface trembling or panic attacks at all today which is great. Long hot bath, music, age defying serum (glass half full tonight
) and a hot water bottle on my neck - wonderful. Caffeine intake massively reduced as well. I may have succumbed to a fresh cream Belgian chocolate choux bun though
Financial stuff has been moving along:
- Mortgage interest letter arrived yesterday and is down to £392.26 (saving £18.08) and the capital payment was aportioned correctly.
Part 1 - £25,138, Part 2 - £102,320. 13 years exactly left on the term, I'm still on track to pay off in 10 (9yrs 4 mths to go).
- Food shop done last night and overspent at £35.48 but almost all fresh food and having 3 very good size healthy meals each day plus 3 pieces of fruit to help my body repair/recover. Was a couple of things in there for the office as well and of course as DS came with me extras found their way into the trolley!
- Bank account has been checked daily - £200 gone to Reg Savings today, that's now sat at £1,000 :T
- Freepostcodelottery (both) - checked
- Nectar Adpoints - done those, sat on 45 points
- Nectar Canvass and Search - not done anything more there
- Nectar card value - at £78.89 still
- Inbox Pounds - up a tiny bit to £10.99
- Qmee - starting afresh having moved the 55p and picked up 11p
DS's phone and my mobile data box are both here, so they're charged and ready to use.
I've still tried to keep on top of work admin and emails these last couple of days and have packed up a fair bit of stuff ready for getting the office keys tomorrow. Move will mostly take place on Saturday as the plumber is here Friday to replace 2 sets of taps and the pop up waste plug thing. Monday I have to take DS for his sight test and we'll get his school stuff then too.
Not too shabby considering and I've taken the completed form to the new GP surgery today as well, so we should be moved over in about a week.
Have done some housey bits too - 2 loads of washing today, hand washing up, bins etc. Another early night shall beckon - sleep is a good healer, as are my afternoon naps at the momentBack on the DFW Wagon:

Am a creature of habit INOD - sadly that includes getting stressed out regularly. Putting my faith in the massage tomorrow. I was wrong to stop the monthly Osteopathy in pursuit of money saving as it stems from the lower back injury/operation years ago.
Either massage or osteopath will be going as an essential in the budget going forward. I'm also listening to freebie audio relaxation exercises and doing those and picked up some CBT techniques - I now have a little table drawn up of perceived thought and reality that I'll be taking with me. Saving some money by not going to see a CBT Therapist.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Evening all
A busy day but not run of the mill work. Slept really well and flat on my heat pad and managed to shift a bit of tension before my massage today - which was fab. I have alot of lactic acid built up so whilst it's done plenty of good, I need a few more intense sessions to get rid of it and have been recommened to get a lavender neck cushion that is heated in the microwave. Also turns out the therapist is a lady I went to school with and 30 years of catching up ensued in the 2 hrs I was with her.Back again next week, just for neck/shoulders/back, as today I had a whole body and there was tension in my legs too.
Hardly any other symptoms today, a bit of stomach butterflies at the start of driving, though all local journeys. Next step is to try a fast road.
I've now got an office too and feel like part of the office population once more. Moved a few bits in today and plenty more to do, but it's looking good.
A few things at home to sort as well - most notably the mobile phone for son has been put on a business plan I find out today and the data box on a 2 year contract though my phone runs out in 11 months - DS's phone is to be returned, they're unable just to change the plan, so that was an annoying start and I need to decide what to do about the other bit of kit. Keep it or return it.
I've done all the financials but won't bore you with the details for a change
Tomorrow the plumber is here and I'll have fixed taps instead of dripping ones and wonky ones and finally a plug that will work as it should do. I'm meeting a friend for a late lunch and catch up then - carrying on the slowing down and relax a bit attitude.
Sofa and coffee table will go into the office on Saturday and then I'll have a couple of days pottering before I start back to work properly next Tuesday.
Happy with all that and now heading to bed for a good 8 hrs sleep on my heat pad with lavender sprayed on it (found half a can of it in my drawer, so very MSE).
Hope everyone has had a good day and wow, Friday tomorrow. The week has flown by even though it's not been a great one for me, but pleased to say no panic attacks again today. I'm cracking it :TBack on the DFW Wagon:
