            Government? Gotta love text auto-correction!

The ticket was for the car which would make it likely that it was my gf or we were together
The registered keeper (NOT THE DRIVER) needs to respond with the letter on ordinaryJoe's thread then, and on several other threads (same letter). Written by zzzLazyDaisy it states the facts and name and address of driver, which discharges the registered keeper's liability.
Driver then gets their own Notice and can appeal and state that if they did take longer it was because of their medical condition and to harass her would be a breach of the Equality Act. Also they have made no loss so should 'do one' or cough up a POPLA code.
That would do! If rejected she would then get a POPLA code; the right wording then wins it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry for the delay, the 'event' was back in May. I have a few PCNs for the same event and then a letter in June saying that if the letter is ignored, further action may be taken. Nothing since.0

So you haven't bothered to stop the whole thing and rewind the clock to an appeal stage, by naming the driver? OK...court papers next then (not recommended).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I was asked to say what letters I've had so I've done that now. If you guys recommend I now appeal I will. It gas been 6 months since I last heard anything though. Would they just send court papers out of the blue next?
The last letter just said that further action MAY be taken0 -

What do you mean you have a few PCNs for the same event?
A PPC can only issue one parking charge for one event.
WHY haven't you re-set the clock yet by naming the driver.
You really need to get your skates on here and follow the advice already given as I can guarantee if you ignore this Parking Eye will issue court papers next.
Parking Eye are the most prolific issuer of court papers and appear to be even more so now (my theory is to do with the second part of their cash buy-out with Capita - it is a cash free /debt free offer and the second payment due February).
And please do write to Aldi - along the lines of regular customer and their breach under the Equality Act - there are plenty of examples to tweak by searching.
edit new post added in interim:
They would have to issue a Letter before Action first - which parking eye dispense from their legal department - not compliant with practice direction.I was asked to say what letters I've had so I've done that now. OK I will name the driver if that's the advice. Is it just a case of writing to them?
I was kind of hoping that nothing more would ha[ppen as it's been nearly 6 months. The last letter wasn't a final letter before court action or anything.
I had more than 1 copy of the PCN. They sent me about 4 copies of the same thing all with the same 'event date'0 -
            Yes like this
Dear Parking Eye
In reference to your invoice xxxxxx, dated xxxxx. As the registered keeper I wish to deny liability to your company as I was not the driver of the vehicle at that time. Please note the person responsible for the vehicle on that day:
Name
Address
I have now discharged any possible liability to your company, and under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, as no court proceedings have been initiated you must accept this.
For the avoidance of doubt, if you proceed with a spurious small claim against me it will be fully defended. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

OK, I think I can do that. Then just wait for them to pusue the driver and come back?0
