I am very jealous of your trio to Paris! I love Paris and have been a few times in my teenage years. France as a whole was a big part of my growing up as my family holidayed all over the country. Have a croque monsieur pour moi!CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))
July debt total: £24,630.44 | New debt total: £18,316.34 | Total debt paid: £6,414.10 (26%)

I looked in as I find your money saving a real motivation. I'm also interested in all the talk of Paris as my son will be working in Paris from June so we will become regular visitors. It sounding good.0

Morning all! Pouring cats and dogs here by it's still Paris.
JoJoC, don't be jealous, can you not manage a trip here? At this time of year at least, it's pretty cheap. ... or in the autumn maybe? ... if you came here a lot in your teen years then you know all the good places!
I nearly got a croque Monsieur yesterday, will look out for one today. Fishfins, merci bien
haven't forgotten about money saving (which is good?) but will enjoy last day, going walking round the Marais, cheap and will hopefully work off some of those cakes from yesterday.

JIL, bonjour, merci et welcome. If your son is moving to Paris that is definitely a good excuse for lots of visits.0

I'm checking out of my hotel now ... will see all you lovely people when I am back in London tonight. Have a good day, all.0

You too!
i will be at the market in Cannes in the pouring rain (not going all that way and not go to the Sat marche). Hoping to find me a few treats to bring back like Girolles and chocolates!
Have a safe journey home,0 -

Back safely all. I have missed MSE in my couple of days away (even though I was posting). It was a lot harder to read stuff on my little cheap tablet so harder to keep up with the site generally. It is nice to be back in great big grimy London, actually.0
