    Lloyds has been slow for a couple of weeks now, however TSB seems pretty quick.
    Agreed. The sites were slow up until this morning and have resumed normal service again just this evening.

    Lloyds and Halifax have been slow in recent days (again!) but have sped to normal (i.e. same as TSB) this morning.

    Maybe they want to be in keeping with Strictly Come Dancing, (as I understand that's on agaaaiiin) - slow, slow, quick, quick, slow.

    I spent another hour on phone to Lloyds yesterday, to try and access online banking, with activation code(.approx 3 hours so far), in the last 3 weeks.since they introduced this new A/v code to enable online banking, without success.
    Another security measure aparrently, TSB have introduced it too.
    They admitted again they are having technical problems , and have no idea why, or when it will be fixed, so have had to use thier phone banking to set up my 3 new accounts, and they will set up the 3 internal Standing Orders to feed each Account, on the phone.
    I was about to throw the towel in.

    I'm not with you about a new activation code. Do you mean you don't hold accounts with them yet and this is something you now need (you mention about opening 3 new accounts), or do you mean it's a new measure being introduced for existing account holders? If so, I haven't heard anything about it.

    Haleluja;;
    I,ve posted this 3 times on this thread. Lloyds have introduced an activation code for Anyone applying for NEW intenet banking, as I did 3 weeks + ago, whilst opening 3 A/cs with Lloyds, Bos, and Tsb.
    Tsb are using the code as well.A new security measure???
    There are teething problems with it, they don,t know what, or when it will be fixed, and it,s affecting the whole login system, not just the Activation code, that,s probably why, everyone is having problems.
    Especially Lloyds and Tsb;
    Without the code, I cannot use IB, so am stuck using phone banking.
    I cannot even view my Accounts, never mind use them.I cannot login at all,
    technical problems is the result when trying.
    I have to phone lloyds today, to set up my internal standing orders of £1k from L1 >L2 >L3>L1;
    Everyone on here, obviously didn,t need the NEW A/v code when they opened thier A/Cs, but, it,s obviously upsetting the whole system, including Tsb, they obviously still use the same servers.
    Hope this helps explain why speeds MAY be slow etc.
    They have told me they are having technical problems throughout.

    UPDATE:
    Just phoned again as still cannot login, she apologised, said they are still having Techie problems, BUT, set up my 3 internal SO,s, no problems.
    Presume I can do BOS via Halifax online.
    TSB, will have to wait.same problem as Lloyds.
    Pain in the rear end.
    IS it worth it: Internet banking on the phone.
    When I mentioned R85,s, she said, drop them in any branch or post them.
