So bottom line your brother in law is a thief which makes him a criminal.
wish i could see it as so cut and dry.
does anyone know what is likley to happen if he is caught? what would happen to my sister as she knows but is turning a blind eye?0 -
funnily enough i know he is kinda steeling from tesco, he puts things like apples through as potatoes. but i know money is really tight and it is wrong in some ways, but poor people stealing from a large supermarket in order to feed their family is not cut and dry.
all i want to happen is for someone to find out about it, and just give him a warning and a hard slap on the wrist.
He won't get just a slap on the wrist. He'll either be fined or imprisoned. The longer it goes on the bigger the penalty so for his own good you should report him to Tesco to review their CCTV.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Sounds like he dam well deserves it.0 -
kinda stealing? It's theft plain and simple. Tell him to use a food bank if he's desperate.

i know, but i thought we had progressed as a nation since cutting off an arm for a starving person stealing food.0 -

One of the reasons we are all paying so much for everything these days is fraud, theft and non payers.
No excuses - this person is a criminal - no excuses.0 -

Am I the only one who cannot understand how a magnet could possibly make something that rotates go slower or even backwards? Would somebody please explain? At the moment I think it's a wind-up (no pun intended) but I'm open to a scientific explanation.0

Why is he stealing food? There are enough benefits around to avoid starving. Tell him to stop paying his debts (which is not criminal) before commiting a criminal offence.
apparently not from what i hear of their finances, i doubt they are paying off any debts - just getting more into them0
