Morning all
I'm still sniffy but getting better (back to work today as my rule is if I'm well enough for housework I should be at work!) and Mr Mooo managed to put his own socks on today so he's also on the road to recovery :rotfl:
Surprisingly, the meal plan stayed in tact with the exception of Tuesday when I just felt awful so called for pizzaI'll need to play with budgets to cover that one, but I really wasn't well enough to cook and he couldn't stand up.
In better news, I've FINALLY reached my £50 Nectar target, mainly due to Mama Mooo coming to town and swiping my card in Sainsbury'sMy balance is now 10,654 points / £53.27. I'm really vexed at how they're changing Nectar points though and once I've used my points up I think I'll stop even trying to earn them. Removing the 1 point per bag reuse has really annoyed me, especially as we'll be getting charged 5p per new bag in Scotland from next week
Made another £7 yesterday selling excess gubbins on Facebook. That'll probably go towards the pizza bill :rotfl:0 -
When is the points for bags going?
I know they are cutting points from next year from 2 points a £1 to 1

I think it's at the same time they cut everything else.
I need to look and see what's worth my while loyalty-wise. If Nectar take away the bag reuse points then there's little point in it, especially if the points per pound are going down.
I use my Tesco credit card a lot, but only really trade in the points for Pizza Express vouchers, which doesn't seem like the best use to be honest.
Things to consider anyway!0 -
Cracking shop last night in Asda.
Two small packs of mince - 50p each (so £1 for 500g)
28p for a large punnet of green grapes
19p for a snack pack of red grapes (my favourite!)
33p for 12 free range eggs :j Another pack had clearly broken and the box looked knackered, but the eggs were in great shape.
Found a £10 off Molten Brown code on HUKD (and free delivery) so that's the MIL's Christmas present sorted. I can't believe people pay those prices all year round  The gifting budget for the rest of the month is quite squeaky, but I think I'm now resigned to paying more than I want to for Christmas this year...0 -
Nectar points up to £55 now, thanks to putting petrol in the car and then buying some clothes
£29 gained from selling some bits on FB :j I'll add £20 to my spending money for the month and the rest to my small holiday fund.
I had £1.54 ready to pay out from TCB so asked for it in Amazon vouchers, netting a 7p bonus. Every penny counts I suppose :rotfl:0 -
I was in a Tesco Express this morning, all proud of myself because I remembered my bag
I pressed for own bag, balanced it on the scale and started scanning and packing. When I was done it asked me how many bags I had used. I pressed "1". It then told me it was going to add 5p to my bill  I'm sure it used to ask how many own bags so that it could add the bag reuse to the points. I nearly had to pay for my own bag  Luckily I spotted it but if someone is in a hurry and doesn't read it properly they might get charged.
